 Get ready for the real deal

D. ACTIVITY

 Call the students one by one and allowing them to experience testing the defective
components
 Set up first the correct setting for testing
 Let them to identify the defective components from good one
 Let them measure the readings of each components in front of the class

E. ANALYSIS
 Asking the students on how they feel about the activity?
 How are they going to relate it on the previous topic?
 Introducing them new lesson to learn about the Multi-tester.

F. ABSTRACTION

 Discussing about the usage of Multi-tester

 Showing them the proper way of handling the test probes
 Read the continuity indicator
 Discuss safety in handling the Multi-tester
 Prepare safety practices
 Set up the proper setting for continuity test
 Make them ready for testing the component
 Usage of multimeter in finding the faulty component
 Demonstrate how it is done properly
G. APPLICATION

 Call the students one by one for the actual testing demonstration using the multi-tester
 The students are obliged to follow the correct setting for continuity test
Steps for continuity test
1. Set the pointer to the X1 position
2. Ignite the test probes
3. Hold the component to test
4. Make sure that the two opposite probes are connected from end to end of the
component.
5. See to it that the pointer indicator is moving
6. Record the readings
