Introduction
Payroll management is a method that allows a company to manage the
pay of their employeesdeals with the creation of payslips. complex
computations that are conducted manually can beautomated utilizing the payroll
system. The payroll system coupled with HR activities is known as
payroll.Payroll management software benefits every type of commercial
operation.The payroll administration system comprises all of the tasks
associated with paying an organization's personnel. It often entails keeping track
of hours worked and ensuring that employees are compensated appropriately. It
also entails calculating taxes and social security, as well as ensuring that they
are correctly withheld and processed. Depending on the firm, a wide range of
additional deductions may be estimated, withheld, and processed as part of
payroll administration. Payroll administration may also include the handling of
contractor payments.

Background
The employment landscape is always changing, with technology playing a
critical role in determining how firms run. Payroll administration is a vital
component of organizational functioning that includes not only the timely and
proper payment of salary, but also a variety of complicated operations.
Traditional payroll systems generally struggle to fulfill the different demands of
its users, resulting in inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and employee unhappiness.
Objectives of the Study
The key goals of this thesis project are:
a. To evaluate the existing condition of payroll systems and identify user-related
issues.
b. Create and develop a user-centric payroll solution prototype.
c. To evaluate the prototype's usability and efficacy through user testing.
d. To make proposals for integrating user-centric ideas into payroll systems.

Documentation of the Existing and Seriousness of the Problem


The present payroll systems, while effective, may lack a user-centric
approach, resulting in subpar user experiences. Addressing this issue is critical,
since a well-designed and user-friendly payroll system may greatly improve
employee happiness, productivity, and organizational performance. This study
will look a user friendly system that allows the payroll system to be more
accurate and with the satisfaction of the administration as it will contain all the
payroll activities of a certain employees.
