1. If you will become an artist, what art form would you use to express your
art?
If I will become an artist, I would focus on different art forms such as painting,
photography, film, and literary works. These are the mediums I have been using
throughout my life to express my ideas and feelings.
2. If you become a multi-awarded artist local and international,
a. How will you promote your hometown through your art work?
If I become a multi-awarded artist both locally and internationally, I would like
to use my art to promote my hometown. I plan to join or even establish an
organization that empowers artists and inspires young minds. My goal would
be to encourage people to express themselves through any form of art.

b. How will you contribute to the country using your artistic skills?
As someone who wants to contribute to my country, the Philippines, I intend
to use my artistic skills to highlight our economic, societal, and political
status. I believe art is a powerful tool to disseminate information and raise
awareness, and I plan to use it as my voice to make a difference.

1. What can you say about the traditional art forms found in our country?
The Philippines is home to an abundance of traditional art forms that have been
passed down through generations. These art forms are not only a reflection of
our rich culture, but also of the creativity and ingenuity of the Filipino.

2. If you will describe the art forms in our country in one word, what word
will it be?
I would describe the art forms in our country as "unique" because each art form
has its unique characteristics and techniques.

3. Given the chance to become a well-known artist, how will you promote
and preserve the arts and culture of our region?
Given the chance to become a well-known artist, I would establish an
organization that focuses on promoting and preserving the arts and culture of
our region. The organization would aim to inspire and engage youth in artistic
activities such as art exhibits and other related programs.

I can see the painting "Infinity" as the problems that keep swirling in our minds. It
feels as if the artist has captured the depth and complexity of our problems in this

specific example.
In the artwork "Yo Mona Will Survive," appropriation is used to give a new
meaning to the "Mona Lisa" painting by Leonardo da Vinci. Alisa Seliverstova
added a face mask to Mona Lisa to represent the pandemic situation in 2020.

2. How is the element Time shown in Néle Azevedo carved ice figures?
The element of time was shown in Néle Azevedo's carved ice figures because the
ice will melt in the sun as time passes by.

3. How is the element Hybridity shown in Dante Enage’s portrait of President


Duterte? Give a specific example.
Hybridity was used in Dante Enage's portrait of former President Duterte by using
tuba or coconut wine as his medium to showcase the Waraynon culture, which is
an unusual material to use in an artwork.

4. How is the element Perspective displayed in the above example picture of


Forced Perspective?
Forced perspective is displayed in the above example picture by making the
person and shoe appear larger than they really are, while the people behind them
appear smaller because they are far from the camera.

5. How is the element Text shown in the “Abante, Babae” photograph?


The "Abante, Babae" photograph by JC Roda speaks for itself with the text
tattooed or written on the woman's back. The text adds another level of depth that
conveys respect for women's decisions.
