What is Human Resource Management?

It is a management function that focuses on hiring, training, motivating, developing and


maintaining workforce in an organization. It ensures satisfaction of employees and makes sure
to achieve the objectives or the organization. Human resource management division also
concerned in employees compensation, benefits, and terminations. The HR management
division must keep up to date with the laws that can affect the employees and organization.

The importance of Human Resource Management

The main purpose HRM practices is to manage the workforce to achieve the organization’s
vision, mission and goal. HR managers also monitor the health of the organization or the
business to keep it competitive. And also to prevent the employees from burning out and keep
the job roles adapted based on the market.

Functions of Human Resource Management

-Job analysis
Determining the skills and experience required to perform a job well may make it easier to hire
the right people, determine appropriate compensation and create training programs.

-Work operations
Creating health and safety policies, responding to workers grievances, and working with labor
unions can help support regulatory compliance.

Evaluation of performance is important because it not only fosters employee growth through
constructive feedback, but also serves as a basis for raises, promotion and dismissals.

Recognizing achievements and rewarding high performers with bonuses and other perks, is an
effective way of motivating employees to take ownership of organization's objectives.

From orientation to advanced educational programs, employee training servers to improve
productivity, reduce turnover and minimize supervisory needs.
