We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to our project
guide prof. Daware for his encouragement , guidance, and insight throughout the project
and in the preparation of this project. She truly exemplifies the merit of technical
excellence and academic wisdom. Her extensive knowledge serious research attitude and
encouragement were extremely valuable advices but also for her continuous scheduled
follow up and valuable comments during our project work. We are also very grateful to
Prof .jadhav R.S(HOD) for devoting time from her busy schedule to provide valuable
comments and suggestion on this work.
The satisfaction that accompanies that the successful completion of any task would be
incomplete without the mention of people whose ceaseless cooperation made it possible whose
constant guidance and encouragement crown all efforts with success. I am grateful to my Prof.
daware for the guidance , inspiration and constructive suggestion that helped me in the
preparation of this project. I am also thankful to my colleagues who have helped me in
successful completion of the project.

Introduction:

The “Dairy Management System” showcased here represents a cutting-edge C++ project designed
to revolutionize the very core of your milk dairy enterprise. This exceptional system empowers
you to masterfully oversee every crucial facet that ensures the seamless operation of your dairy.
From meticulously tracking milk deposits to effortlessly managing animal meals, facilitating loan
applications, and effortlessly sharing vital dairy-related information, this system paves the way for
unparalleled dairy excellence.

Dairy farming is quite relevant in most parts of the world. In these lands’ animals, especially cows
are raised so that their milk can be sold in the market. In other words, you may say that if there
had been no dairy farms then milk, which is the main source of calcium and minerals for humans
would be difficult to get. Today, dairy industry is one of the most promising industries all over the
world. In fact, no other business can guarantee such returns as does the dairy farming. Usually
cows, which are tested and tried to produce large amount of milk are raised in these lands, for
example, Milking Shorthorn, Brown Swiss, and Ayrshire. If this business is done with proper
scientific management, then returns of 25-32% of the investment is guaranteed.

Aim Objectives of system

The main aim of this application is today the foundation for e-governance, create
visible impact of the intention of the government. Some of objectives are:

1. To reduce drawbacks of manual working.

2. To computerized form generation.

3. To computerized report generation.

4. To give desired and accurate result. To handle customers detail

information using computer system.

Scope Of System
The total milk production in the country for the year 2001-02 was estimated at 84.6 million
metric tonnes. At this production, the per capita availability was to be 226 grams per day
against the minimum requirement of 250 grams per day as recommended by ICMR. Thus,
there is a tremendous scope/potential for increasing the milk production. The population of
breeding cows and buffaloes in milk over 3 years of age was 62.6 million and 42.4 million,
respectively (1992 census).

Need of the system

A specific example considered in this research is the dairy sector. In this sector, the two prominent
software-intensive developments are the use of milking robots and activity monitors. A milking robot
keeps track of milk yield and calculates the percentages of fat and protein content in the milk [6]. The
data generated by the milking robot are generally managed by an on-premises or cloud software
system that is connected to the milking robot. The software system provides the farmer with a
dashboard that shows the values of various attributes about each individual cow and the milk the
cow produces. This allows the farmer to identify deviations from normal production levels and the
health of the animal.

Analysis

Fact finding techniques

Fact finding techniques are essential in the analysis and design of a super market
management system. Preliminary investigation implies that which methods are applies to
make research of company and by which means information is collected regarding
product. Generally, there are three methods for collecting the information of any
instructions.
This are

Interview :
Interview is the most of the system useful, fact-finding technique. It enables collection of
information from individual’s face-to-face which could squeeze a lot of information which
people have in their minds. Interview will provide evidence of real time situations and
how accurately a process takes place.

Questionnaire:

This is most common method of fact finding. A questionnaire is a document that is

containing a number of standard questions that can be sending to many individuals.

Observation:

This technique is done through observing a person’s perform activities to learn about the
business process.

Feasibility Study
Feasibility study is basically the test of the proposed system in the light of its
workability, meeting user’s requirements, effective use of resources and of course,
the cost effectiveness. As the name implies, feasibility study is an analysis of the
viability of an idea.

Technical feasibility

The technical feasibility in the proposed system deals with the technology used in
the system. It deals with the hardware and software used in the system whether
they are of latest technology or not and if it happens that after a system is
prepared, a new technology arises and the user wants the system based on that
technology. This system use window platform, file database and cpp user interface.
Thus hostel management system is technical feasibility.

Economic feasibility

Economic analysis is the most frequently used method for evaluating the
effectiveness of a new system. More commonly known as cost/benefit analysis. Cpp
and file database are easily available on internet.

Hardware &Software Requirement

We have required the devices as we have mentioned below while making our airways reservation
software.

Hardware Requirement

• Computer: Intel i5 Processor with 2.0 GHz

• RAM – 256MB

• HDD - 40GB

As we are learning c++, so we had decided to keep our project with this. Therefore, we used
which is familiar to us. We also used some other software’s to achieve our goal as below.

Software Requirement

• Front end: cpp

• Back End: File database

• Windows XP with higher version

Advantages of the system

19 | P a g e
• This project has been a great experienced to us. It has helped us to learn and
understand the C++ language and Software Engineering concept in more details as
well as implement Software.

• Concepts in real life to develop software that is compatible with the user and
satisfy the user need.

• It helps us very much to build our spirit. We have tried to make the software User
friendly.

• as possible This project work really gives chance to learn something practically
out of typical reference books.

Disadvantages of the System

20 | P a g e
Technical Challenges:

Institutions may face technical challenges during the implementation phase, such as
compatibility issues with existing systems, software bugs, or the need for
continuous updates.

Dependence on Technology:

The reliance on technology for various functions makes institutions vulnerable to disruptions
such as server failures, power outages, or network issues, which can temporarily paralyze
operations.

Conclusion

Dairy farming is a potentials sub-sector for generation of income and employment, 75-80 percent of
farm families of small farmers, marginal farmers and landless labourers are employed in this
subsector. Dairy generates employment with least unit cost of
