Plastic pollution has had serious consequences for the environment and humans.

Environment:

- Animals that consume plastic waste may die, putting them at risk of extinction and disrupting
the environment.
- Plastic waste causes pollution at tourist destinations, affecting people's rest and relaxation
space.
- Plastic waste that is not properly disposed of has a direct impact on the air and water
environment, such as:
+ When plastic waste is burned, it emits toxins that pollute the air, poison the environment,
reduce immunity, and cause cancer.
+ When buried, plastic waste causes the soil to lose its ability to hold water, negatively
impacting plant growth.
- Furthermore, it can pollute water sources, resulting in the death of beneficial microorganisms
for underground plants.

Humans :

- For humans, consuming fish, seafood and marine products contaminated with toxic
microplastics can lead to a series of serious health problems.
- Garbage is thrown carelessly, piled carelessly, not collected, not transported to the treatment
site, and so on, leaving unsightly images and causing aesthetic loss.
- Not only does it have an impact on the diversity of the marine ecosystem, but it also has a direct
impact on the livelihoods of people who rely on marine resources and exploitation activities,
aquaculture, and marine tourism.
