 WHAT IS SMUN?

● It is an activity aimed at young people that advocates

following the United Nations Model.

 HOW DOES IT WORK?

● The operation of the conference is a simulation of the UN.

● A general topic for discussion is proposed and the students (delegates) are assigned
a country and a commission.
● Delegates must inform themselves about the position and ideas defended by the country
they represent at the conference.
● The objective is to debate proposals and resolutions and obtain
enough allies for the Commission to approve them.
 TO WHOM?

● It is aimed at young peoplebetween 15 and 17 years.

● The participating students, from different

national and international schools, must
master the English language since it is the
vehicular language of the conferences.

● Closing ceremony: April 14, 2024.
● The approximate price of this activity is about €500 (pending confirmation of flights and number of
students attending). We will send an email with the final data as soon as we have the flight
reservation.
● This price includes:
* Registration fee for conferences.
* Accrediting diploma.
* Malaga-Barcelona flights (I/V).
*Transfers to and from the airport.
* Accommodation and transfers to St Peter's school.

* Breakfasts, lunches and snacks.

● Dinners are not included.
