 OBJETIV

Develop expression oral capacities that permit do a personal presentation and have a natural conversation
with other person about daily activities, using a correct pronuntation and language manengment.

 ACTIVITY I

1. My name is Laura Sofia Laverde Pinzón, i´m Colombian and i´m 20 years old. I work as military
in the Colombian Air Force, my family is composed for mom, stepfather and sister. My mom is
called Luz Aida, my stepfather is called Andres and my sister is Paula Valentina. I have two dogs
very pretties, are called Tonny and Thomas. I have too my grandparents that are incredible people,
my family is very small but the love is very big.

2. I wake up at 06:00 o´clock and I make my bed, I do exercise for 40 minutes and i take a shower, i
have breackfast at 07:00 a.m and I brush my teeth. At 07:15 I go to my office on my bicycle because
is a few far, at 12:00 p.m I have lunch and rest until 14:00 p.m that I must go to work again, at 16:30
I go to my barrack, I study to reinforce the classes and the 18:00 p.m I have dinner or if I have class
I have dinner more last. In general, this is my routine, although sometimes I have meetings or I am
available for flight and I must comply with the availability. My hobbies are practice the traverse
flute, read some books, watch movies or just sleep. My best leisure activity is to visit to my family
because is very few the time that I can be with their.

3. I work in the Colombian Air Force as military, my grade is airman and I´m military since 2017, I
work in the Combat Air Command Nº 6 that is localized in the state of Caquetá, this base is very
beautiful, the climate is troplical and very warm, we are in the middle of the jungle and every days
we see different kind of animals. I´m part of the tripulation of remotely piloted aircraft (drones) of
the Air Force, my job is misterius and very exciting, i´m very happy and proud to protect and
provide security to my country with my work. Everyday I learn differents things that make me the
best person.

1.3. Describe 3 of the job positions you find in the Chart of the company: duties and skills needed.

1 Advertiser: This person is in charge of advertising the company so that people are interested
and want to purchase your service, they must have design skills and conviction.
2 Chef: These people are in charge of keeping food always fresh in good hygiene, they must have
skills for food preparation and that fast food is left with an excellent flavor and quality.
3 Receptionist: Is the one entrusted to receive the order correctly to the clients and generate a
good impression, he must have computer skills and customer service.

1.4 CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (describe 3 actions the company is working on

related to CSR.

1 All the coffee consumed, as well as palm oil and fish, also comes from certified sustainable
productions.
2 Increase in total fruit, vegetables and low-fat dairy products in nine of its main markets.

1.5. APPLYING FOR A JOB IN ONE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY. Pretend you are applying
for a job in that international company. Based on your CV, write a letter including your personal
data, the position you are applying for, your experience and skills and why you want to there.

Good afternoon, my name is Laura Sofía Laverde Pinzón, I am 20 years old, I am aspiring to the
position of marketing analyst I have 3 years of experience in personnal management, incorporation
and conducting interviews in the Colombian air force. I want to be part of the work team Mc Donald's
because I consider myself a disciplined and optimistic person with all the capacities to contribute and
make the company improve its quality of human talent every day.

2. Create some visual aids (ppt or emaze) in order to summarize the information above (include
all 4 sections).

3. Record a ten-minute video in order to explain the 4 sections (general information, comparison,
CSR and a brief summary of your CV. Record it by using Canvas Studio or any other tool.

When you record it, both your face and your Ppt slides must be visualized (you can use your
Ppt on iPad in front of you, or present with the slides in your background); make sure both the
quality of the video and the sound is good enough!

 CONCLUSIONES

It is possible to show a significant advance in the pronunciation of words and an expansion of terms which
allowed the English language to be gradually consolidated.
