INT. GADON TOWER - LAB

SCIENTISTS, wearing identical SILVER METAL HEADBANDS, swarm
three giant cylinders. Each contain a human SUBJECT engrossed
in a oil-like substance hooked up to electrodes. They all
have distinct numbers on the palms of their hand.
The scientist observe the monitors showing brain scans of
each individual. They talk and make notes.

DING.
In UNISON the scientist heads face forward and their eyes
glow SILVER. A deep voice echoes into the room.
DAVID (O.S.)
Are the preparations completed?
SCIENTISTS
(together)
Yes Commander.
DAVID (O.S.)
And their initial brain chemistry?
SCIENTISTS
Still failing to connect with the
headband commander.
DAVID (O.S.)
Probability of failure?
SCIENTISTS
Twenty-three percent commander.
DAVID (O.S.)
Devi?
DEVI, mid 30s, lean and sporting deadpan expression, makes
her way from the back to the controls.
DEVI
Ready commander.
DAVID (O.S.)
Begin.
Two scientist hurry to the other two cylinder controls and in
unison activate the experiment.

Electricity flows into the cylinders. The subjects wince and

tremble as the substance boils.
Devi and the scientist watch with the same body posture. They
all turn to the brain scans where it shows slow change in the
brain chemistry.
BAM! Devi glances over to one one of the subjects, punching
her cylinder through the electrecution.
DAVID (O.S.) (CONT'D)
How is she awake?
The scientist stay quiet as Devi searches through the
monitors for her files. The cylinder's cracks grow with each
hit.
DEVI
She was a neurodivergent sensitive
to stimuli commander. The pain may
have superseded the anesthetics
because of her evolving brain
chemistry.
The liquid seeps through the cracks as the subject continues
her onslaught.
DAVID (O.S.)
Note the effect.
SCIENTISTS
Yes commander.

The subject BREAKS FREE of the cylinder. Her and the

substance fall in front of the scientist who stare at her.
The subject catches her breath and without hesitation,
ATTACKS THE SCIENTIST. She punches and throws them ACROSS the
room, killing a few.
She grabs the monitor station for her cylinder and HURLS it
at the scientist.
DAVID
Was physical enhancements apart of
the diagnosis?
SCIENTISTS DEVI
(some being No commander.
killed)
No commander.
DAVID (O.S)
And the other subjects?

Devi checks the monitors, ignoring the decimation of the

scientists.
DEVI
All within expectation commander.
DAVID (O.S)
Good. I'll take it over from here
Devi.
DEVI
Yes commander.
Devi head falls and her irises DISAPPEAR. The subject seizes
this chance and punches her into a monitor.
The subject is about to run but notices the other two
subjects. She jumps towards a cylinder and begins punching
it.
Devi head raises, taking no damage from the punch. Her eyes
glow SILVER as she rises her head.
She identifies the subject who wields a defensive stance.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Surrender eight-five-three.
The subject stops and screams, charging at Devi.
SUBJECT
LEAVE ME ALONE!
Before she can reach her, Devi arm TRANSFORMS into a SONIC
CANNON and fires at the subject, launching her back.
The subject holds her chest but manages to stand.
DEVI
Enhanced strength and durability.
What other abilities did you
receive?
The subject throws some debris at Devi which she blasts away.
The subject uses the distraction to sprint towards the
damaged cylinder.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Enhanced speed.
Devi is able to catch up to the subject and close combat
ensues. The subject tries to run but Devi pulls her back in
the fight.

Devi goes to fire at the subject but she slaps her arm away,
redirecting the shot. Devi's other arm transforms into a
BLADE and STABS the subject.
She falls and Devi's weapons revert into hands. Devi grabs a
headband off of a dead scientist and crosses back to the
subject.
SUBJECT
(crying)
Please, just leave me alone. I
don't want to- Just send me back
home.
Devi strokes her cheek.
DEVI
This is your home now. Welcome, to
the Gadon Empire.
Devi forces the headband on the struggling subject. Miniscule
needles from the head PIERCE the subject's head as she
screams.
Within a few seconds she falls silent and her eyes glow
SILVER.
Devi rises with the remaining scientist surrounding her. Her
eyes fade back to the original color.
DEVI (CONT'D)
I suspect that were proceeding to
phase two of the tests.
DAVID (O.S.)
No. I've seen everything I need
while considering the new numbers
and factors during the skirmish.

INT. GADON TOWER TOP FLOOR - CONTINUOUS

Overlooking a technologically advanced but bleak city stands
DAVID GADON, late 90s with a body of an Olympian. Wires and
tubes connects the back of his body to something off screen.
DAVID
Begin the trials at the colony. I
want all of the survivors here by
next week and the enhanced left on
the island. The option of failure
is unavailable to you from here on.
Freedom is within our grasps.

TITLE: VISIONARY

EXT. BEACH - DAY

CHARLES, 20, sharp eyes and dressed in swim wear watches the
waves crash into each other. He embraces the sea spray and
sun rays.
A water balloon hits him the back of the head, disrupting his
peace. He smiles.
CHARLES
You throw like a girl.
SUMMER BROWNE, 18, carries a bucket full of water balloons.
SUMMER
A lot of smack coming from the guy
who's soaked.
CHARLES
Maybe if you hadn't snuck up on me.
SUMMER
Oh Charles, excuses isn't a good
color on you.
CHARLES
I don't know, I think it looks
pretty good with green.
She drops the bucket and takes out a water balloon.
SUMMER
I bet it looks even better wet.
She gears up to throw it but it DISAPPEARS when she lets it
go.
SUMMER (CONT'D)
I thought you wanted a water
balloon fight.
CHARLES
Yeah, I felt like it would've
gotten out of hand. Next week we
could try again.
Summer moves beside him.

SUMMER
Then what should we do?
CHARLES
We could just watch the waves.
SUMMER
Or...
She motions him towards the ocean. He considers it.
CHARLES
They're too rough.
SUMMER
We'll be fine.
CHARLES
That doesn't make it safe-
Summer takes off and dives into the water. She doesn't come
up.
CHARLES (CONT'D)
Summer?
Nothing.
CHARLES (CONT'D)
SUMMER! SUMMER! SUM-
ELECTRICT CURRENT overwhelms Charles and the world SHATTERS
around him revealing:

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LAB - DAY

Charles is hooked up to several IV's and has electrodes
placed on over his body on a hospital bed.
SCIENTIST #1 withdraws blood from him and SCIENTIST #2 shines
a light in his eye. SCIENTIST #3 mans the controls for the
electrodes and a monitor for his brain scan.
All three wear the headband from earlier but their eyes are
normal.
SCIENTIST #1
Any changes?
SCIENTIST #3
There was a slight alteration but-
Charles catches his breath. He's dazed.

SCIENTIST #2 (O.S.)
But what?
SCIENTIST #3 (O.S.)
It changed back.
SCIENTIST #2 (O.S.)
Again?
SCIENTIST #1 (O.S.)
Run it again, I have a theory. If
we add the crown, maybe we can
catch the frequency and stabilize
it to that wave pattern.
SCIENTIST #2
It could work.
SCIENTIST #1
Four-zero-one, I'm going to need
you to turn back on your
hyperphantasia.
CHARLES
It's one test a week.
SCIENTIST #1
Yes we know but-
SCIENTIST #3
Don't waste your time explaining it
to him. Let's begin.
CHARLES
Don't be a prick, I'm only asking
to understand-
Scientist #3 delivers a DEVASTATING shock to Charles.
SCIENTIST #2
Stop it! What if the commander's
watching?
Fear overcomes the trio anticipating the worst.
CHARLES
Yeah right. The last time the
bastard looked at me was when he
condemned me here.
Relief sweeps the room. They prepare for the next test.

CHARLES (CONT'D)
But if you ever shock me like that
again, I'll make sure you're the
one in the chair next time.
Scientist #3 takes the headband from Scientist #2 and slaps
it on Charles forehead.
SCIENTIST #3
I don't care if you're grandfather
is the commander or God himself.
I'm not afraid of a defect.
He shocks Charles.
SCIENTIST #3 (CONT'D)
Turn it on.

EXT. BEACH - DAY

Summer floats on top of the waves having the time of her
life.
Charles watches her, hollow. She takes notice.
SUMMER
Charles! Watch this!
She dives under the rough waves.
Charles runs towards to her aid but she comes up with sea
shell.
SUMMER (CONT'D)
It's pretty isn't it?
He smiles.
CHARLES
It's perfect.
He's shocked again.

EXT. CENTRAL BASE - DAY

Charles exits the building and scans his right hand with
"401" imprinted on it. The gate opens letting him out but
before he leaves, he glares into the security camera and
sticks up his middle finger.

EXT. STREETS - CONTINUOUS

Charles waltz onto the sidewalk next to a HUMANOID ROBOT
standing at attention. It turns.
ROBOT
Do you need help retreating to your
living quarters-
(scans his hand)
Four-zero-one?
He shoves past him and continues on his way.
ROBOT (CONT'D)
Four-zero-one? Four-zero-one please
respond.
The city is grey with majestic flora sprouting in controlled
spaces. People and even families of all ages walk the streets
in different colored jumpsuits. They all cross the street as
Charles walks by.
Every street corner has one of the robots standing guard and
security cameras are at the corner of every building.
Charles passes a courtyard with an altered Bahamian flag with
the classic American stars and color palette waving in the
wind. He scoffs.
Walking to the outermost areas, the buildings become worn out
with horrible paint jobs while the flora lessen in amount and
color. People loiter on the sidewalks, giving Charles the
side eye.
He ignores them.
He enters an modern day apartment complex.

INT. CHARLES APARTMENT - LATER

Charles enters a sleek living room. Summer has papers,
folders, and maps thrown about the room. She rocks a messy
bun and glasses.
SUMMMER
Hey. You okay?
CHARLES
They doubled it today.
He look around for somewhere to sit.
 10.

SUMMMER
Two doses? Don't they know you
could've died?
CHARLES
Like I would die that easy.
He moves some papers to make space on the couch.
SUMMMER
Good, because I may have a lead.
Charles shakes his head.
CHARLES
Tomorrow.

SUMMMER
Tomorrow is today. If I'm right, we
can finally free the island.
Charles looks at her, eyes sunken. She catches a glance.
SUMMER
If we figure this out you won't
have to suffer next week.
CHARLES
(sighs)
What's the expected casualties?
SUMMER
I don't-
CHARLES
When we escape where are we going
and on what?
SUMMER
The boat on the eastern part of the
island can-
CHARLES
And the wall?
SUMMER
That's what I'm trying to talk to
you about-
CHARLES
Wall's impenetable, we're not
getting past it, not with the
entire island. Do you want
casualties?

SUMMER
No.
CHARLES
Then we'll talk about it, tomorrow.
We're not going to make this happen
within one night of brainstorming.
SUMMER
(re: the mess off papers)
A years worth of work is a day's
work to you?
CHARLES
Ideas and theories aren't plans.
Those delve into chaos and chaos
leads to casualties. Now let me ask
you again, for just the inklings of
your plan. Do you want casualties?
SUMMER
No?
CHARLES
Will there be if we go through with
your plan?
SUMMER
We can-
CHARLES
Be honest.
SUMMER
Yes.
CHARLES
Can you ensure me that one of these
casualties will not be me, or you?
SUMMER
(pause)
No.
Silence.
CHARLES
Tomorrow.
SUMMER
Okay.
Summer sits next to him on top of the papers. She leans into
and he embraces her.

SUMMER (CONT'D)
What's the first thing you want to
do once we're out of here?
CHARLES
A cabin, in the middle of no where
surrounded by trees.
SUMMER
In Alaska?
CHARLES
Definitely in Alaska.
He kisses her on the forehead and holds her closer.

INT. CHARLES APARTMENT - BEDROOM - NIGHT

Summer sleeps next Charles who's wide awake. He gets out of
bed.

INT. CHARLES APARTMENT - MOMENTS LATER

Charles scours through the documents and files. He picks up a
sheet with stick figure drawings to accompany the steps.
He admires the work. He puts it down but then does a double
take. He picks it back up.
Picking up other pieces of paper (a blueprint of the wall,
sewer paths, robot maintnence schedules) and putting them
together he realizes: she did it.
CHARLES
You beautiful genius.
His face drops as he takes in the discovery.
He tears one of the papers in half and throw it in the trash.
Continuing his search he comes up on a letter from 'TITAN'.
He opens and read the letter. He crumbles it up in anger and
storms out the apartment.

EXT. EDGE OF THE WALL - LATER

Charles opens an outdated flip phone.
No new messages. He scoffs and examines the wall. He focuses.

Pieces of the wall begin to deconstruct showing the layers

within it.
He looks at the bottom. The ground is pushed to the side and
the depth of the wall is shown.
Various scenarios are shown of him and Summer (climbing the
wall, digging under it, trying an explosion). They all end in
the both of them being captured.
CHARLES
It really is impossible with just
the two of us. I would need-
RYAN (O.S.)
You rang?
RYAN EDWARDS, mid 20s, toned approach Charles with two GOONS
behind him. They all wear the colored pants but white tees.
CHARLES
Where's Titan?
RYAN
Busy. What can I do for you Mr.
Prince?
CHARLES
Tell Titan I need to see him, not
his lackeys.
RYAN
Am I not good enough for you
Prince?
Charles pushes past the trio.
CHARLES
Tell him to come see me the minute
he's free.
RYAN
And this is why we wanted Summer
and not you.
Charles stops. He confronts Ryan.
CHARLES
She's not interested.
RYAN
Did she really say that?

CHARLES
You all are reckless, ignorant, and
unpredictable bastards who does the
equivalence of pranks on them and
the island has to pay for it. What
happens when causalties is the next
price to pay?
RYAN
You're overexaggerating.
Charles yanks out his flip phone.
CHARLES
We're forced to used flip phones in
twenty seventy nine because of the
stunt you bastards pulled two
months ago.
RYAN
That almost worked.
CHARLES
Almost is never good enough.
RYAN
We're not going to deny someone's
idea because they aren't as smart
as you and Summer.
CHARLES
How about you start.
RYAN
And deny their freedom?
CHARLES
If it gets in the way of mine, yes.
Please do.
A stalemate.
Ryan gaze falls behind Charles and his eyes widen.
RYAN
Oh crap.
Charles looks over his shoulder to see Devi approaching.
DEVI
Out after curfew is a punishable
offense.

She puts out her hand scanning Ryan and his goons as they
tremble. Charles stands pissed.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Two-zero-five, one-nine-six, one-
three-zero and-
She scans Charles.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Levi.
CHARLES
Piss off Devi, I'm dealing with
something.
DEVI
(to Ryan)
Leave us.
RYAN
Yes mam.
(to goons)
Let's go.
They scurry off.
CHARLES
(scoffs)
What do you want?
DEVI
You've grown.
CHARLES
What does he want?
DEVI
I missed some birthdays so I picked
up a-
CHARLES
At least afford me the dignity to
tell me the shit you all are
forcing me into now.
DEVI
Can't we talk first Levi? It's been
years. I've missed you.

CHARLES
This family has all the freedom in
the world but the only time anyone
of you 'miss me' is when you want
me to suffer. So what does he want?
Devi gives him a blank stare.
DEVI
Follow me.
She begins walking.
CHARLES
To what?
DEVI
To suffer, one last time.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LOWER LEVEL - LATER

A large cylinder is being filled with the same substance from
the beginning scene by the robots.
The trio of scientist are placing the electrodes on him in
the same pattern as the subjects. He's calm scanning the
room, waiting.
JAY GADON, late 40s, sharp eyes and a skinny body with a
studious posture, enters the room with Devi and four robots.
The robots splinter off to continue prepping as Jay and Devi
approach Charles.
JAY
Hyperphantasia. The ability to
create extremely detailed mental
images theorized to be caused by a
larger than normal frontal lobe and
higher rate of dopamine production.
Charles gives him a mean mug.
JAY (CONT'D)
Benefits. Higher than normal
creativity. Disadvantages.
Increased sensitivity to stimuli,
daydreaming, inattention, and in
extreme cases, not being able to
tell the difference from reality
and your imagination.
CHARLES
What was that?

JAY
The last time you we talked you
said I didn't understand you so I
did my research.
Charles laughs.
CHARLES
Was that a joke?
JAY
You also asked Devi what this was
about.
CHARLES
I'm now guessing it's the same as
always.
JAY
Your grandfather created a new
formula that will evolve your brain
to the point of perfection in
which-
CHARLES
I won't be a defect that can't be
controlled.
JAY
He doesn't wish to control you
Levi.
CHARLES
Charles.
JAY
Levi. He simply wants for you to
understand the family you were born
into. Your 'gift' and ego causes
you to deviate from our will.
CHARLES
His will. His rules. His freedom. I
deserve more than that.
JAY
Right. I guess it doesn't matter
either way, you'll be fixed soon
enough.
Jay motions for Devi to leave and they begin walking away.
CHARLES
Let's make a deal.

Jay stops.
CHARLES (CONT'D)
I go through with this, you take my
hyperphantasia and you force me
into a Gadon rehabilitation camp,
but a friend of my choice is next
to me the entire way without a
headband.
JAY
You are not in a position to be
making demands.
CHARLES
Yeah? Don't think I don't know how
even with all the advancments
David's soon going to crap out and
out of his two sons and one
daughter, you're the only one with
a kid. Yo might think one you are
taking the throne. But it's me. I'm
next in line. Why else is he going
through this much to fix me?
Because you three are not fit to
rule. Am I wrong?
Jay faces him.
CHARLES (CONT'D)
And as a bonus, I'll give you the
rebellion's base. Just as a gift of
good will.
JAY
Summer Browne doesn't fit within
our code Levi.
CHARLES
How did-
JAY
The rebels are located southeast of
the island, Golden Gates Estates
underground.
Charles is stunned.
JAY (CONT'D)
And no, you are wrong, my father
doesn't care about you, but I do
and I will fight to keep you in
this family. Even disobeying him.
Isn't that right sis?

DEVI
We want to help you Levi.
CHARLES
You bastards want to control me! I
am my own man and i will not be
subjugated to a life of-
Scientist #3 inject him with a liquid. He begins to fall
asleep.
JAY
Hopefully with your hyperphantasia
gone you will become tolerable.
This world doesn't need another
egotistical visionary.
Charles passes out. The robots grab and carry him over to the
cylinder, dropping him in.
Scientist #1 man the controls to the cylinder while #2 and #3
stand with Devi and Jay.
Devi eyes glows silver for a second and the robots stand
nearby.
JAY (CONT'D)
Scared?
DEVI
Cautious.
(to Scientist #3)
You reviewed my data correct?
SCIENTIST #3
Yes mam, fascinating work, but I
still don't recommend this.
(to Jay)
Charles' brain is 'different' than
the other defects. Others simply
aren't affected but his brain, it
adapts to the changes.
JAY
Devi what's the likelihood of
Charles adapting to this based on
their research.
DEVI
Inconclusive.
SCIENTIST #3
Yes so-

JAY
So we continue.
SCIENTIST #3
We can't guarentee your son will be
the same or even survive the
process.
Jay exchanges glances with Devi.
JAY
You better hope he does or else
your commander will question why
you allowed this to happen in your
lab without my permission.
The scientist tremble at this while Scientist #3 activate the
machines.
DEVI
Are the preparations com-
JAY
Start the experiment.
Scientist #1 activates the control sending shockwaves into
the substance and Charles. The substance boils. His body
winces in pain.

EXT. AMUSMENT PARK - NIGHT

Summer drags a confused Charles through the bustling area
towards a rollercoaster.
SUMMER
Come on, before they close.
The attendee opens the gates and lets them onto the ride.
Summer enters and straps in.
Charles doesn't get in.
SUMMER (CONT'D)
What are you waiting for?
His eyes water and he faces the ground. Summer gets out the
ride to comfort him.
SUMMER (CONT'D)
Hey, what's wrong?

CHARLES
I failed you. I should've planned
for this. I could have... God. I
don't want you to forget about me.
Please never forget about me.
She pulls his face up and gives him a warm smile.
SUMMER
But Charles... don't you see, this
is for the best. Because now -
Her smile converts from warm to devious.
SUMMER (CONT'D)
I'll finally be free of you.
Summer SHATTERS to pieces. The world around him begins
cracking and FISSURES appear in the ground.
Charles drops to his knees in the surrounding chaos. He
rummages through Summer's shattered pieces and his despair
turns into a scowl.
CHARLES
No.
(stands)
I will not kneel!

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LOWER LEVEL - CONTINUOUS

The substance begins boiling furiously. A DANGER sign flashes
on the monitor. The system overheats.
JAY
What's happening.
SCIENTIST #1
He's... oh God, he's pushing back
the treatment!
Devi eyes WIDEN.
DEVI
Impossible.
JAY
Turn it up.
SCIENTIST #3
Sir but that would-
Jay SLAPS Scientist #3.

JAY
Turn. It. Up!
Scientist #2 turns the voltage up a little more. Electricity
begins sparking in the substance. Charles body pulses.
JAY (CONT'D)
Anything?
SCIENTIST #3
Yes. His brain, it's changing.

EXT. AMUSMENT PARK - CONTINUOUS

Charles strains himself trying to keep the world intact but
it's shattering faster then before. The pieces begin falling
SIDEWAYS with streaks of florescent lights trailing them.
The entire world becomes streaks of florescent light flying
past Charles. The sensory overload of light and sound
OVERWHELM him.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LOWER LEVEL - CONTINUOUS

Charles OPENS his eyes and reaches for the cylinder.
JAY
Devi.
Devi hands transforms into a SONIC CANNON.
Charles reaches and his finger almost reaches the glass...
BOOM! The glass explodes from within and it hurtles towards
Jay. The robots blitz in their path to shield him.
Charles falls to the ground and in the substance and catches
his breath. Devi trains the cannon on him.
DEVI
Stay.
JAY
(to Scientist #2)
Get me headband.
Scientist #2 runs to the side but Charles-
CHARLES
No headbands.
 23.

The headband on Scientist #2 is RIPPED out of his head. He

gargles and his eyes go blank, dying on the spot.
Everyone is mortified, especially Charles.
JAY
Levi did you do that?
Charles looks at Jay then to Scientist #3. Who tries to sneak
away. Charles looks behind him and then back at Scientist #3.
He stands.
CHARLES
You.
Scientist #3's lab coat pulls him back into the monitor,
breaking his spine.
Devi readies the canon but with one look it the opening CAVES
IN on itself.
Charles turns back to the scientist.
The electrodes comes off of Charles and stick to Scientist #3
surrounding his heart.
SCIENTIST #3
Please.
CHARLES
I warned you.
Charles looks at the controls and they're turned to its
maximum, killing the scientist.
Charles watches, dissatisfied.
DEVI
What is this Levi? Telepathy?
Matter manipulation? Which ability
did you receive?
CHARLES
Freedom.
JAY
Levi-
Charles looks directly at the door and the floor RISES UP
creating a BARRIER for a pathway to the exit. He sprints
towards it leaving.

Charles grabs a headband out of the drawers. He gives it to

Devi.
JAY (CONT'D)
I don't care if father says to
override my commands. Put it on him
and keep it on.
Devi nods and breaks open a hole into the path, following
Charles.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - CONTINUOUS

Charles races through the hallways bumping past robots and
other scientists.
Devi's eyes flash silver.
A camera whirs, locating Charles speeding down the hallway.
She runs, deftly avoiding obstacles.
Charles hears her in the distant and he turns to face her.
CHARLES
Let me go.
Devi rushes towards. Charles looks at the door of the room
beside him and then Devi. The door flies off the hinges
slamming her into the wall.
Devi's unaffected.
CHARLES (CONT'D)
Dammit.
Charles runs scanning the full length of the hallway. Devi
catches up to him within seconds but that was all he needed.
The walls, ceiling, and floor transforms into SPIKES with
behind Charles.
Devi dodges them, shedding her crushed sonic cannon and
transforming her hand into a blade. She SLICES through the
hallway of spikes.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LOADING DOCK - CONTINOUS

Metal barrels fill the room. Charles enters and confronts the
dock door.

CHARLES
Okay, you got this.
Charles focuses on the door. It opens.
Charles takes a step toward freedom when he's rammed by Devi.
He looks at a barrel then her. It launches at her and she
retaliates by transforming her other arm into a sonic canon
and firing at Charles, crashing him into the wall.
He struggles to get up.
DEVI
So you gained enhanced durability
as well.
CHARLES
(in pain)

DEVI
Concede.
Charles pants and glares at Devi.
A BARRAGE of barrels hits her from the back. Charles sprints
to the door but Devi catches him in one swift motion. She
SLAMS him into the ground. She puts the headband on his head.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Welcome to the Gadon Empire, Levi.
The small needles inject into his head and his eyes turn
SILVER. He calms.
Devi gets off of him and picks him up. She heads for hallway
but twitches. She drops him.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - CONTINUOUS

In the hallway, Jay makes his way through the robots and
scientist who also begin twitching. Their eyes flash silver
on and off.

INT. GADON TOWER TOP FLOOR - CONTINUOUS

David, in the same position as the first scene, eyes flash
silver and is overtaken by an immense pain. He drops to his
KNEES.

DAVID
Levi, get out.

INT. CENTRAL BASE - LOADING DOCK - CONTINUOUS

The headband on Charles breaks. He takes it off. Devi is
still recovering when her eyes turn silver. She gets up.
CHARLES
It's about you showed up David.
DEVI
You have scorned this family for
too long. Today, you die.
Devi's arm transforms into LASER CANNON. She FIRES at
Charles. Charles stares at the blast. It CURVES, missing him.
DEVI (CONT'D)
Telekinesis?
CHARLES
Who cares?
Charles looks at the dock door and pieces TEAR from it
attacking Devi. She counters most but a few land. She being
overwhelmed when:
A SCREECH is heard breaking Charles' focus. The attack on
Devi stops. Jay holds a device emitting the sound with
headphones on.
JAY
So my theory was correct. Your
abilities are a physical alteration
of a reality based on your
hyperphantasia.
DEVI
You used it on him.
JAY
Shush.
Jay pushed a button on his watch and Devi shuts down.
JAY (CONT'D)
Now let's go son. We have work to
do.
CHARLES
Like hell. I can guess what these
barrells contain.
(MORE)

CHARLES (CONT'D)
Send anyone after me and I'll come
back to destroy the entire stock.
Then we'll see which is faster. My
escape or your production.
JAY
Are you willing to risk that?
CHARLES
What are you talking about?
JAY
This experiment isn't just for you.
It's for the entire island.
CHARLES
So if I destroy them I save
everyone.
JAY
And give them the choice to escape
with you and Summer Browne.
Charles glares at him.
JAY (CONT'D)
Which then decreases your
likelihood of escape even with your
powers. Or worse, they turn on you,
see you as a threat to their
independence and kill you. Leave
the barrels with us and I'll give
you one less thing to worry about.
Charles glances at the barrels and Jay.
JAY (CONT'D)
Which is it... Charles?
Charles thinks for a second. Without looking back, he takes
off.
JAY (CONT'D)
Smart.
Jay presses the button on his watch. Devi powers on. She gets
in Jay's face.
DEVI
I'll deal with you later.
She chases after Charles.
