Ms Leila: A neighbor

Scene: a living room decorated with Mother's Day cards and flowers.
[Amy is putting flowers on the table as Mrs. Billa enters.]

Amy: Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Mrs. Billa: Thank you, sweetheart.

[Amy hands her a homemade card.]

Amy: I made this for you!

Mrs. Billa: It's beautiful, Amy. Thank you so much.

[Ms Leila knocks on the door and enters with a small gift.]

Ms. Leila: Happy Mother's Day, Billa!

Mrs.Billa: Thank you, Leila. That's kind of you.

Amy: Mom, Leila brought you a present too!

Mrs. Billa: Oh. Thank you, Leila.

[They all share a warm smile.]

Leila : Well, I'll leave you now. Happy Mother's Day again.

Mrs. Billa: Thank you, Leila. Have a good day!

[Ms. Leila exits.]

Amy: Mom, I made breakfast for you!

Mrs. Billa: That's so sweet, Amy.

[They sit down at the table, and Mrs. Billa hugs Amy.]

Mrs. Billa: Thank you for making this day so special, Amy.

Amy: I love you, Mom!

Mrs. Billa: I love you too, sweetheart.
