Among all the cities in the world, I like Paris best. Known as the "City of Love," Paris
captivates visitors with its romantic ambience and iconic landmarks. From the majestic
Eiffel Tower to the charming streets of Montmartre, there is always something to
discover. The city's rich history, world-class museums, and delicious cuisine make it a
truly enchanting destination. Whether strolling along the Seine River or indulging in
a/enjoying a croissant at a sidewalk café, Paris never fails to leave a lasting impression.
In my opinion, at any age, people will have certain types of stress. And of course, we
teens do too. We often feel stressed about school exams. Also, this is the time when we
need to study hard to get into our dream high school. To deal with it, we should try to
stay calm, eat enough food, get enough sleep and focus on studying. Moreover, it is the
time when we face numerous physical changes. We’re afraid that we look ugly in others'
eyes. To this problem, we should learn and get more information about it to know that it’s
normal, try to overcome negative feelings, and maybe talk to someone: your family, your
best friend, or even your teacher. Finally, we also feel stressed that our parents have such
high expectations for us, they want us to be perfect. But we’re still humans after all. For
this problem, we should definitely talk to our parents and explain to them how we feel,
and also focus on our strong points. In conclusion, stress is a common and normal thing;
however, what matters the most is that you know how to get over it.
Pottery is a traditional handicraft that I am into. I love the process of shaping clay by
hand or on a wheel and firing it in a kiln to make it strong and steady. It is both
captivating and interesting. The combination of creativity, precision, and mindfulness
required in pottery making allows me to be creative and focused at the same time.
Moreover, the sense of history and tradition associated with pottery adds a profound
depth to the craft. What I like most about pottery is that it allows us to add my personal
touch to each piece. That’s what makes it truly special to me.
Conical hat, known as "non la" in Vietnamese is a traditional handicraft that I’m into, it is
deeply rooted in Southeast Asian culture. The artisans skillfully weave thin strips of
leaves or grass, typically sourced from palm trees or bamboo, to create the shape of the
hat. The process requires patience, precision, and artistic flair. What I find most
captivating about conical hat-making is not only the complicated weaving techniques
employed but also the cultural significance behind the hats. They protect us from the
scorching sun and also represent traditional beauty and elegance. The artistry and
symbolism of conical hats make them truly special to me.
