It is to submit that while enclosing the copy of NREDCAP letter
reference 1st cited, the Engineer-in Chief(Irrigation) vide references 2 nd cited
and 3rd cited requested this office to examine the subject matter in detail
and furnish a detailed report for taking further necessary action.
In this regard, I herewith submit the following information based on
the information submitted by the Superintending Engineer, SKD GNSS
Circle, Kadapa.
The Government have allotted the following Pumped Storage Hydro
Power (PSP) and Solar Power and Wind Power Projects near Paidipalem
Village in Simhadripuram Mandal vide G.O. 3rd cited are as follows;
1. Paidipalem East Pumped Storage Power Project in YSR District – 1200
MW.
2. Paidipalem North Pumped Storage Power Project in YSR District –
1000 MW.
Further, it is to submit that the land particulars shown below are
acquired under GKLI Scheme as listed by the NREDCAP Ltd:

Level of Paidipalem Reservoir whereas the following land details which are

In this connection, it is to submit that, the Superintending Engineer,

SKD GNSS Circle, Kadapa has stated that, the above land extents as
requested by NREDCAP are above FRL Level of Paidipalem Reservoir and
present there is no activity is being carried out in that area.
Therefore, I request the Engineer-in-Chief(Irrigation), Vijayawada to
examine to handover the above mentioned lands to an extent of 73.30 Acres
to NREDCAP for the construction of the New Lower Reservoir for PSP
purpose at East side of Paidipalem Reservoir.
This is submitted for favor of information and taking further necessary
action.
