Dear Young Woods Families,

As we come to the end of the school year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for
your support during this exceptional school year. We started the school year off strong with our
Back to school night and then our fall festival. We continued strong with our parent teacher
conferences and our Winter Wonderland event. As we experienced distance learning together
for the first time in March, our families rose to the occasion and did an excellent job learning
about Google Classroom and Zoom! You supported your child and together we were able to
achieve the impossible!

We want to let you know that we are grateful for all of your support this past school year. We
know that the first day of school this year, August 31st will look different when students arrive.
Over the summer we will keep you informed regarding what school will look like.

In order to keep you informed, we will use Kinvo, Parent link (phone calls), emails and the
Young Woods Facebook page to keep you informed about what is happening at our school. If
you haven’t, please follow our Facebook page Young Woods Elementary School. We will post
read alouds, dance parties, etc. If you need to update your telephone number, please call
