Values Valuing

The magnitude of the acceleration is directly proportional to the net force applied, and
2. Content inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
3.LearningResources Teachers guide, internet, pictures.

4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity
e brought a pepperoni
5 minutes pizza and sliced it into 8
parts. He gave his son
Marble Run: The students will observe the marble and the time consumes.
4.2 Activity
Balloon racing. The teachers provide a balloon and let the students observe.
10 minutes

4.3 Analysis 1. How do you find the activity?

2. What have you noticed from the activity that we did earlier?
3. What are activities all about?
5 minutes
Those were some of the activities that tells about acceleration.
4.4 Abstraction 1. The teacher will display a video or animation that demonstrates the concept of acceleration, such
as a car accelerating from a stop sign. The teacher will discuss that the speed will depend the force
and the mass applied of a certain object.

2. The teacher will define acceleration as the rate at which an object changes its velocity.

3. The teacher will explain that acceleration can be positive or negative, depending on whether an
object is speeding up or slowing down.

4. The teacher will provide examples of positive and negative acceleration, such as a roller coaster
accelerating down hill (positive) or coming to a stop at the end of a ride(negative).
