Highlight of the week:

-Many of the users have a subscription product because they are aware of its
benefits.

- This week there were about 10 matches where I found sexual harassment, so I
skipped them immediately.

- There were no life threats though I had experienced some rudeness from some
users and abusive words they spoke while talking. It was about 5 to 6 matches in
which I experienced those things.

- Azar is more likely to become one of the favourite matchmaking apps because of its
easy-to-use platform and the variety of people to connect with.
- Azar users express concerns about the app's safety features, highlighting a
perceived lack of robust measures compared to a favoured alternative. This raises
the importance of enhancing security protocols on Azar to instil greater confidence
among users in sharing personal information.

-One Azar subscriber's primary motive revolves around using the app for casual
interactions, boredom relief, and expanding their social circle. This user, however,
shifts to Tinder for more serious romantic pursuits. This underscores the need for
Azar to consider diversifying its features or introducing specialised modes to
accommodate users with varying relationship intentions.

-Feedback indicates that some Azar users find it challenging to establish special
connections on the platform. This insight suggests an opportunity for Azar to focus
on refining its matching algorithms or introducing features that foster more
meaningful and unique connections. This could include personalised matching
criteria or prompts designed to encourage deeper interactions.

-Azar has proven to be a catalyst for this user in forging meaningful connections
through its matchmaking platform. The app has facilitated engaging conversations,
leading to the establishment of valuable friendships. This success story showcases
Azar's ability to create a conducive environment for building genuine relationships.

-In the realm of Azar's matchmaking, one user recounts an experience that swings
between success stories and unpredictable moments. They've had memorable
encounters that have enriched their journey, but the experience is not without its
occasional instances of inappropriate behaviour. This narrative captures the varied
and dynamic nature of interactions on the Azar platform.
-This user expresses a preference for Bingo as their dating app of choice, citing its
standout feature of empowering women and fostering respectful interactions. This
highlights the significance of platforms prioritising user values and creating an
environment that aligns with the user's expectations for positive and respectful
interactions.

-I have seen an increase in matches from Nepal even though most of them were
invalid matches
-More of my matches use the app to:
1. Make friends.
2. Practice English and Korean and 1 user who is practising his Bangali.
3. For culture assimilation
4. Meet girls (male users)
-Users also use the app for purposes of growing their social media accounts like
Instagram and snapchat, Facebook.
-Some users complain about homophobia, with one user saying some users spit on
the screen when they match with him.
-Most of my matches have bought subscription products and most of their
reasoning is that they feel like they need it and that they don’t afford it.
-Most male users purchase gems to match with women only, however they still
complain about the prices of the gems.
-Most of my connections this week were male until I put on a filter for females,
however I discovered that a lot of users register as female while they are male. This
is something other users have complained about too.
-Issues of racism and homophobia are still a big issue amongst users.
-Majority of my matches are in their 20s, however I saw an increase in matches with
users over the age of 30
-A lot of my matches were new Azar users and most of them were impressed with
the app.
-Azar helps a lot of people with social anxiety as some of them say they have learned
to socialise through the app while some say they have finally made friends and do
not feel alone anymore. – With a user saying she does not talk to her parents and so
locks herself up in her room and uses the app to stay sane.
-Moderation on Azar is still not good as a lot of users complain about bad users
Azar Plus/Azar Premium users:

-Despite the inclination towards subscribing to Azar, a significant portion of users

remains cautious about committing to recurring payments for app subscriptions. This
indicates a common apprehension among users about the long-term financial
commitment, even when interested in accessing premium features.

-For users open to subscribing, there's a willingness to embrace a conditional

subscription model. Renewals are contingent on Azar's responsiveness to user
feedback and the continuous introduction of new features that demonstrably
enhance the matchmaking experience. This feedback-driven approach becomes a
key factor influencing users' subscription decisions.

-While expressing a positive inclination towards Azar, some users are hesitant to
subscribe due to uncertainty about how premium features would significantly
enhance their overall Azar experience. This highlights the importance of providing
clear expectations and value propositions to users to address any uncertainties and
encourage subscriptions.

-Less number of my matches do not subscribe to any products for 2 reasons:

1. They feel they do not need it as they enjoy the spontaneousness of
the algorithm.
2. They simply cannot afford it.
-Users wish to buy subscription products however they complain about the price.

3.Trend / Insights:

- Locally in Spain, there are ongoing discussions about sustainable living and the pay
rate for Construction workers. For this reason as well, there have been strikes in my
State.
-- Comparing Azar with other apps, a user mostly experimented with other
matchmaking apps as well, but Azar's video-first approach made it a preferred
choice.
-Majority of the users are new on the app (under 3 months), however, this week I
matched with a few users that have been using the app for a longer period of time,
one user has been using the app for 2 years.
-I have realised most of my matches that try to show their private parts are men who
are from Bangladesh.
