Academic Opinion
One of the things that needs to be considered in the quality
of Islamic education is the direction and improvement of
morals to be good. Morals are not just a decoration on a
person, but an asset to live in society, achieving happiness
in this world and in the afterlife. Without good morals,
there will be no harmonious relationship in society.
Good moral education starts from childhood.
Getting used to behaving politely and courteously
to others so that good morals will be firmly
embedded in students. Moral education is not only
related to theory, but also requires a conducive
learning environment.
In education there are 2 resources that can be used, (1)
human, in the form of teachers, educators, non-educators,
students. (2) non-human, divided into 2, namely physical
ones such as equipment and non-physical ones such as
regulations, activity plans, semester programs, vision,
mission and goals. Therefore, these 2 resources can be
utilized to improve the quality of education.
 In addition to moral education,
students also necessary to be
taught to think systematically.
Systematic thinking can
influence and enhance the
quality of education.
 The benchmark of moral education is the Qur'an
and the Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him). Well, the ultimate goal of
this opinion is to give more attention to moral
education so that it is not just a decoration, but can
also be implemented in daily life.
