ACTING

In terms of section 10(1)(b) of the Prisons (Staff)(Pay) Regulations, 1968, the

Commissioner-General approves the payment of acting allowance to:

911528 CCO(T/S) B.Mhaka who was appointed Acting Provincial Chaplain – Mashonaland
West Province, from 01 April 2023 to 30 September 2023, both dates inclusive, acting in
place of Supt(T/S) N.Mutasa who was at ZPCS Staff College.

921754 CCO T.Magedi who was appointed Acting Staff Officer –Human Capital
Management – Harare Metropolitan Province, from 15 January 2024 to 17 February
2024, both dates inclusive, acting in place of Supt(W) T.Pambayi who was on vacation
leave.

86. DISMISSAL

In terms of section 17(a) of the Prisons (Staff)(Appointment and Discharge) Regulations,

1968 the Commissioner-General approves the dismissal of the under-mentioned
members.

91. NOTICE

VACANCY: CATERERS, BAKERS, FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGEMENT

Applications are being invited from suitably qualified and interested members of the
Service from all Provinces who wish to fill in vacancies of ten (10) male and two (2) female
Caterers, four (4) Bakers and six (6) Food and Beverage Management posts which have
risen at the Prisons National Headquarters;

Person Specifications and Qualifications

-Degree in Tourism and hospitality

- Diploma or Certificate in Professional Cookery, Bakery Technology, Food and
beverage Management.
- Clean disciplinary record.

Members of staff should be of the rank of CO(1) and CO(3) who have their own
accommodation in Harare and willing to work in the hospitality section.

Interested members to submit their applications through their Officers in Charge to the
Staff Officer- Human Capital Management ZPCS National Headquarters not later than 30
April 2024.
