SCENARIOS DURING EARTHQUAKE SHAKING OCCURENCE

1. UPON HEARING OF SEREN BLAST OF ONE (1) MINUTE OR 60 SECONDS

(MEANS EARTHQUAKE SHAKING GOING ON):

WHAT TO DO:

a. Protect Yourself
b. Stay away from falling objects such as a piece of broken glass windows,
ceiling, fans ect.
c. Get under the sturdy table/desk .
d. Execute the DUCK, COVER and HOLD.
e. Stay put until shaking stops.

2. AFTER THE SEREN STOP OR SHAKING STOP, VACATE THE ROOM/BUILDING,

TEACHER SHOULD INSTRUCT THE PUPILS/STUDENTS TO:

a. Leave the Class Room Immediately.

b. GET OUT of the building in an orderly manner in column, following the
Corridor or Lobby toward the Exit area.
c. Cover the Head with your hand or bag/book’s (Purposely to protect your
Head from any falling debris.
d. Walk, but in little bit pass than an ordinary walk. But do not run.
e. Do not push others. To avoid Stamped.
f. If possible avoid talking and shouting.

3. PROCEED TO THE IDENTIFIED OR DESIGNATED EVACUATION AREA.

4. Note: For theFCU Main Campus the designated evacuation area will be at the
Annex Campus Ground in Front of Elementary Building.

5. Upon Reaching in the Evacuation Area the Teacher/designated Leader should

Conduct Head Count’s. Then Report the Number of Pupils or Students to the
Communication Team or Over all Chair Person.

6. Check Students, if there are injured or wounded or any body else.

7. DO NOT RE - ENTER, to the building, Wait for further instruction.
