Each Question carries 8 marks

1. Write a feature (300 words) on any one of the following topics with suitable headline:
(a) India wins Under-19 Cricket World Cup for the 5th Time ; (b) 75 Years of India’s Independence; (c) Unusual jobs

2. Write an editorial (300 words) on any one of the following topics with suitable headline:
(a) Lata Mangeshkar: A Legend; (b) Plastic heaps up in Kolkata despite ban; (c) Sports without spectators

3. Write a review (300 words) of a book (non-text) or a film or a recent web series which you have recently read or enjoyed and
give a suitable headline.

4.1. Write a proper intro and edit the following news copy with headline:
The 26th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 26) to the UNFCCC was hosted by the United Kingdom, in partnership
with Italy. The summit brought parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN
Framework Convention on Climate Change. More than 190 world leaders participated, along with tens of thousands of
negotiators, government representatives, businesses and citizens for twelve days of talks. The 27th session of the Conference of
the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. COP 27 was originally expected to take place
from 8-20 November 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, COP 26 was rescheduled from November 2020 to November 2021.
As a result, COP 27 will take place from 7-18 November 2022.

h)An examinee will get half an hour or so for downloading the question paper and uploading the Answer Script.
i) Each examinee is instructed to EMAIL the scanned copy of his/her Answer-Script (in a single PDF file) within 20 minutes
after the end of the examination.
j) Write Roll No. and Code of the Paper in the Email Subject Line at the time of submission of the Answer Script through
email.
