Which Glass for Which Drink?

1) Wine
Glassware for wine should have a larger, rounder bowl in order to swirl the
wine easily and help aerate it. A long stem will also keep the hand away
from the drink in order to prevent it from becoming too warm.

2) Cocktail
The classic, traditional cocktail glass is an inverted cone bowl, which can
come in a variety of sizes, usually around 3 to 6 ounces. It is used to serve
cocktails without ice, or ‘up.’ Its shape evolved from the fact that all
traditional cocktails would have interesting aromas, and the large mouth
allows the nose of the drinker to get close to the surface of the drink and
fully enjoy its scent and taste.

3) Whiskey
The most important item in your whiskey kit, next to the whiskey of course,
is a glass. For a whiskey, you might consider a wider opening that allows
the spirit to breathe a little, you need a glass that concentrates the aromas
and allows you to fully enjoy the nose.

4) Shots
Shot glasses make the best glassware for serving shots quickly in seconds.
These glasses also help in measuring the alcohol in other drinks and make
great mixers. They are undeniably a great addition to any bar as bartenders
benefit more with these glasses for serving any kind of drink.

5) Beer
The most suited glass for serving light beers are the pilsner glass with a tall
narrow glass and a broader rim. On the other hand, the savory beers and
beverages are served in typical beer mugs that make the beer a much
enjoyable drink.
