Q.24 (a)A bag has 12 balls colored yellow, blue, green and red. The number of balls of each colour
is the same. A ball is drawn from the bag. Calculate the probability of drawing a yellow ball, a
blue ball, a green ball and a red ball.
(b)Show the rotational symmetry of an equilateral triangle.

Q.25 In the given figure, PQ = CB, PA = CR, ∠P = ∠C. Is ΔQPR = ΔBCA? If yes, state the criterion
of congruence.

Q.26 (a)A retailer buys a cooler for Rs 1200 and overhead expenses on it are Rs 40. If he sells the
cooler for Rs 1550, determine his profit percent.
(b) The population of a small town decreased from 18,560 to 15,787 due to breakout of an
epidemic. What is the percentage decrease in the population?

Q.27 (a) Draw △ABC in which AB = 5.5 cm. BC = 6 cm and CA = 7 cm. Also, draw perpendicular
bisector of side BC.

(b) Calculate the simple interest on Rs. 8000 for 15 months at 6 paise per rupee per month.
