Notice: Inviting applications for CDC Placement Committee Members (Placecoms), 2024-25

Applications are invited from students of the Institute for the following position as per the
details given below.

Name of the Position: Placement Committee Member.

Roles & Responsibilities: Assisting the CDC for internship and placement processes.

Eligibility: First year of (2 year and 3 year) programmes / Third year of 5 year programmes
/Fourth year of 6 year programme / Third year student of B.Tech / B.S subject to Dual
degree / M.S conversion (upon selection)

Students against whom the Institute has recommended disciplinary action in past or ongoing
are STRICTLY advised not to apply for this position.

Duration: May 2024 to April 2025

Interested students from the above courses are advised to submit the filled Application Form
IN –PERSON at CDC (Application Form enclosed). The application form should be signed by
the candidate and routed through the Dept In-Charge (T&P) or Head of the Department /
Centre / School and the same should reach CDC Office positively by 5.00 pm of 2nd April,
2024.
While submitting the application at CDC office, the applicant should enter their details in
a particular form available at CDC office. IT IS MANDATORY.

Selections will be made based on an assessment test including English language test. The
qualified candidates will be called for GD followed by Personal Interview. Written test will be
conducted by 15th April 2024 (Exact date, time, venue will be communicated).

No application will be accepted by CDC Office after the deadline.

Note:

a) Students having more than two active backlogs are not allowed.
b) Students having CGPA less than 7.0 are not eligible.
c) Sponsored students are not eligible.
d) CDC reserves the right to modify the selection process at any point of time. However
the process would be indicated before the process.
e) CDC reserves the right to cancel the candidature even after selection, anytime during
the tenure of placement committee members, if any new or previous cases of
disciplinary matter(s) of the Institute including the violation of the Rules/Notification of
CDC, come to the notice of CDC authority.
