Activity 1

1. Observe your community (it may be at your house, your surroundings, or other places you go)
2. List as many as you can (20 or more per group) the problems you and your community
encounter throughout a day in your life. Focus your issue on the existing or new designs of
infrastructure that are needed by the community around you. You may also ask other people or
conduct an informal interview with a particular group of people or community. Leave behind all
your preconceived problems in the community if you choose to interview other people. Be
observant. This aims to make you aware of the actual situation around you.

Example:
Insufficient supply of water in Brgy halls
Inadequate air circulation in classrooms
Inadequate lighting of a room
No space for parking
Heavy traffic during rush hours at bridge 1 and 2

4. A group will be chosen during the class to share their insights about the video you watched.
5. Submit your hard copy of the activity next week.
