Moisture Checking Procedure

1) Moisture check from incoming materials


Factory QC shall randomly select a minimum of 10 samples during materials unloading and inventory �me, QC shall take the moisture
rate before inter the materials in the factory as per req. they should keep the record and show to auditors.
QC shall perform visual check on the materials for any signs of mold growth/musty smell/water mark/wet materials properly with record.
2) Moisture check during materials Inspec�on
Assigned QC shall perform visual check on the materials during inspec�on from selected materials for any signs of mold growth
/musty smell/water mark/wet materials properly with record.
3) Raw Material Warehouse
Factory QC/CFA shall randomly select a minimum of 10 samples per day from different loca�ons.
Factory QC/CFA shall perform visual check and moisture content check on the materials for any signs of mold growth.
Should there be any sign of poten�al mold growth detected, FKR shall inform VFQM immediately and arrange
for a discussion on the mold management and management of the impacted raw materials.

4) Moisture check in Cu�ng sec�on


Assigned QC shall take moisture rate during lay in cu�ng sec�on by following TMB & Start/middle/End with record. He also
checks any signs of mold growth/water mark etc.
5) Moisture check for Dry process
Assigned responsible shall pick 10% garments from Lot during dry process start for moisture check, a�er dry room process
as per req. again check moisture rate to assure moisture control with record. He also checks visible mold/water mark/musty smell etc.
6) Moisture check During Packing accuracy
Packing accuracy team take the moisture during packing accuracy check with record, He also checks visible mold/water mark/musty smell etc.
7) Finished Goods
Factory QC/CFA shall select a minimum of 1 sample from each of the 4 cartons (1 carton from each corner of the warehouse) to inspect.
Factory QC/CFA shall perform visual check and moisture content check on the finished goods, inner box, and the outer carton for any signs of mold growth.
Should there be any sign of poten�al mold growth detected, FKR shall inform VFQM immediately and arrange
for a discussion on the mold management and management of the impacted finished goods
8) POs that Stored in Finished Goods Warehouse for More Than 30 Days
Factory QC/CFA shall select the sample size based on AQL.
Factory QC/CFA shall perform visual check and moisture content check on the finished goods, inner box, and
the outer carton for any signs of mold growth.
• Moisture content check for FW: 1 pair per carton
• Moisture content check for APP: 1 piece per carton
Should there be any sign of poten�al mold growth detected, FKR shall inform VFQM immediately and arrange
for a discussion on the mold management and management of the impacted finished goods.
