Narrator: In the land of the Danes, King Hrothgar ruled from Heorot Hall. His people were plagued by the monster Grendel, who
attacked the hall every night.
King Hrothgar: (concerned) Our hall, Heorot, is haunted by the vile creature Grendel. None can withstand his terrible might.
Beowulf: (confident) Fear not, King Hrothgar. I am Beowulf, a warrior of the Geats. I shall rid you of this menace.

Scene 2: Beowulf vs. Grendel


Narrator: That night, the warriors sleep in Heorot, with Beowulf keeping watch. Grendel arrives and consumes one of the warriors,
then reaches for Beowulf.
Grendel: (groans and roars)
Beowulf: (defiant) Come, Grendel! Face the might of Beowulf!
Narrator: Beowulf, famous for his powerful grip, struggles with Grendel, tearing off the monster's shoulder and arm.
Grendel: (howls in pain)
Beowulf: (triumphant) I have defeated Grendel! Let joy fill the halls of Heorot!
Narrator: Grendel returns to the fens to die. His arm is hung as a trophy under the roof of Heorot.

Scene 3: Grendel's Mother's Revenge


Narrator: Grendel's mother seeks revenge for her son's death, dragging Beowulf into a dangerous underwater battle.
Grendel's Mother: (menacing) You have slain my son, Beowulf. Now you shall face my wrath!
Beowulf: (determined) I will not falter. I shall triumph over you as well! (SHING SHING)

Scene 4: The Hero's Return


Beowulf: (weary) The battle was fierce, but Grendel and his mother are defeated.
King Hrothgar: (grateful) Beowulf, you have saved my people. You are a true hero.
Wiglaf: (excited) Beowulf has returned victorious!

Narrator: Many years later, Beowulf faces a new threat - a dragon guarding a hoard of treasure that terrorizes the land. A thief steals
a cup, but the dragon discovers the theft and burns the land.
Beowulf: (courageously) "A new adversary emerges, a dragon guarding ancient treasure. I fight not just for me, but for
the honor of my people!" (aging but determined) I may be old, but I will not let this dragon harm my people.
Wiglaf: (loyal) I am with you, Beowulf. Together, we shall face this final challenge.
