TRIP TO JERUSALEM

recreational activities. PE9GS-IVa-6

B. DESCRIPTION OF THE STRATEGY:


This activity develop or enhance the bodily/kinesthetic intelligence. This will allow the students to tell
as many ideas about the concepts learned in class. One gets eliminated if he/she cannot give a
relevant/related idea to the topic and so loses her chair or desk an gets out of the chair of the chair
formation.

PROCEDURE / PROCESS:
1. Form a big circle in class using their chairs.
2. Let the students generate concepts about the lesson
3. If the concept stated is relevant, they sit down until all the chairs. Are eliminated. This is similar
to the game trip to Jerusalem.

C. DEMONSTRATION / EXECUTION OF THE STRATEGY:


Part of lesson plan:
Procedure: After the discussion, its time for some application. You will show to student some pictures
about active recreational activities (indoor/outdoor) and they will try to guess and followed by some
questions.

For this activity, the lesson is about the active recreational activities of indoor and outdoor.

Activity: Trip to Jerusalem


Direction: after forming a big circle, Identify the person who is not seated when the music stops. Then,
ask them a question related to the topic. If they cannot answer, they will be eliminated. If They answer it
they still on the game.

Question: give me example of an active recreational (indoor/outdoor) activities . How does engaging in
indoor/outdoor activities contribute to your physical and mental well-being?
Question: choose one among our examples of the active recreational activities and how do you enjoy it?
Question: in outdoor activities think one of the hardest active recreation then explain why is it hard?
