HEAD ESG – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description
Purpose of the job:
1. To develop and implement the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy.

2. To ensure and drive sustainable practices that aligns with the highest ethical, social, and environmental standards in Pricol.
Role & Responsibilities:
• To evolve, foster and integrate the best practices / standards to enhance a healthy environment.
• To collaborate with senior management, functional heads of Corporate and all Plants to integrate ESG into the organization’s business.
• Benchmarking the most effective ESG standards / robust framework and procedures across Pricol.
• Expertise in influencing people's behavior in ESG initiatives (Employees, suppliers and Customers ).
• Design and implement ESG metrics and targets to monitor and evaluate the company's progress, and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with emerging ESG trends, regulations, and reporting frameworks, and provide guidance to ensure compliance and improve ESG performance.
• Engage with investors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to promote the company's ESG initiatives and communicate its commitment to sustainable practices.
• Conduct thorough ESG risk assessments, identify potential risks and opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance factors.
• Lead and manage a team responsible for ESG initiatives to provide guidance, support, and awareness training across the organization and supplier partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams for data collection processes to ensure accurate ESG reports.
Profile:
Desired Qualification:
Any degree or Bachelor's in sustainability, environmental studies and authorized ESG certification course. Masters Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science/ Sustainability is a value add.
Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in ESG is mandatory. Should be a good team player / Good in Project management and Time management.
Desired Experience Profile:
1. Expertise in leading and managing ESG programs
2. Strong knowledge of ESG principles, frameworks, regulations, and reporting standards.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess ESG risks and opportunities and propose effective solutions.
