 Listen to a radio new program about human living on Mars in order to get general and
specific information.
 Learn language about prefixes and suffixes to indicate the part of the speech by matching
words in bold with their meaning.
 Use the future perfect to talk about event and accomplishments that will happen by a point
in the future by completing sentences and dialogues.
 Listen and watch a video about elderly people in order to answers and discuss questions
about it.

GRAMMAR .:Warm up: Teacher star his class playing a board game . he sends a Saturday
VOCABULARY digital copy using what app. Ss will throw a dice , move spaces according 10
PRONUNCIATION to the dice number and answer questions.
LISTENING 1-lesson 1.
SPEAKING Listening task 1. Pre: before listening teacher asks SS questions such as ,
READING COMPREHENSION think about life on a diiferent planet what conditions make it possible for
WRITING people to live on this planet. Ss will make a list.during: Global Listening: Ss are
going to listen to a radio news program about humans living on Mars in the
future.Ss will check the problems people mention. Close listening : SS will
listen to the exerpts from the new report , they will match words with their
definitions. Post: Tand SS will check the answers.

2- lesson 2: Vocabulary skill :presentation:Teacher introduces some written

examples of prefixes and suffixes using a digital index card and what practice :
SS will study a chart about prefixes and suffixes with special meanings,
teacher explains the usage of them. SS will match the prefixes and suffixes in
bold with their meanings.post Ss will listen to sentences from previous
conversations they will complete the sentences with the correct prefixes and
suffixes.T and Sswill check the answers.

3 – lesson 3: Grammar Focus :presentation:Teacher introduces the future

perfect tense through a conversation, he uses a picture of the conversation and
what app.he explains the function and form of the grammar. Practice: He
provides and explain written examples. SS are going to complete sentences
with the simple future or future perfect form of verbs in
parentheses.production : SS will write their own sentences about the future,
 they will express predictions or future events using the simple future and the
future perfect tense, then they will share them orally.

4- lesson 4 : Listening task : SSare going to watch an online video about

centenarians , After they have watch it . They will answer specific questions
about the video. At the end Teacher ask them for the Message.

5: Lesson 5: Interactive task: SS are given a digital copy all about me , they
will work in pairs asking and answering questions about different topics using
different grammatical tenses.( new American Inside out page 170.)

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
Day 1 SS WILL WORK ON THEIR VOCABULARY LOG . 70 WORDS PROVIDED BY THE
Day 2 TEACHER.
ASSESSMENT / EVALUATION FOR THIS UNIT
Quiz 1 SS will be assessed during class participation. SS will be evaluated in listening and speaking
