GRAMMAR Monday: Warm up: Teacher starts his class checking the language wrap up
VOCABULARY from the previous unit.
PRONUNCIATION Unit introduction:Teacher introduces the unit asking SS Which are good
LISTENING ways to meet people in Nicaragua.which are not give reasons.
SPEAKING Listening task:pre: Teacher asks ss what do they know about penguins,
READING COMPREHENSION where do they live ? what do they eat)during: SS are going to listen to a
WRITING lecture about penguins.they will also true and false statements.after that SS
will number the stages in the penguin ‘s reproductive cycle.post.Teacher and
ss will check the answers.
Tuesday:
Vocabulary activity 1: Teacher asks SS what words do they know about
relationships.then SS will write the words and phrases next to
definitions.also they will complete questions with words from the previous
exercise.. finally Tand SS will check the answer.later Ss will make up
questions about relationships ,then they will talk to a different group.
Vocabulary activity:2Teacher introduces the new vocabulary get +adjective
through a brainstorm. Then SS will complete a story with get
+adjective.finally Ss will talk about the last time they did things.
Wednesday:
Grammar focus 1,presentation.Teacher introduces conversations that
express likes,desires and preferences. Teacher provides some new written
examples, he explains function.practice:Ss will cicle the correct verb form in
each sentence.production :SS will talk about their dates

Grammar Focus 2:presentation: Teacher introduces the new


grammar ,Gerunds providing written and oral examples using an index
card,then SS will listen to conversations that introduce the
grammar .practice:
SS are going to
Write sentences using gerunds.production.SS will create new sentences
using gerunds as subjects.as objects and after prepositions.they will share
them orally.
Thursday: Reading practice:pre:Teacher asks Students what do they know
about getting a family and getting married.during: SS will read a letter about
relationships, teacher clarifies new vocabulary and correct
pronunciation.post:After Ss have read the letter they will answer questionsa
bout the text.
Video practice: SS are going to watch a video , they are given class video
woksheets,unit 7. They will work on the exercises.
Extra activity. Speaking task:( spotlight on you) SS are going to ask and
answer questions about different topics.
