 Watch an online video about the advantages and disadvantages of the internet revolution in
order to answer questions.

GRAMMAR  Warm up: Teacher begins his class asking SS what kind of pictures do they
VOCABULARY like to take and why . they will give reasons. Then they will look at some
PRONUNCIATION images of people , they will describe the pictures and explain what sort of
LISTENING pictures they are. Saturday 1
SPEAKING  Vocabulary activity 1: First Teacher asks SS what do do they know about and
READING COMPREHENSION podcast. then he provides them the meaning. Then SS are going to listen to
WRITING the podcast and label pictures with words from a box. Finally Tand SS check Saturday 2
the answers.
 Vocabulary activity 2:First Teacher introduces words related to picture
comparisons he writes them on the board through a brainstorm .then Ss will
listen to people making comparisons about pictures , they will complete
sentences with given words or phrases from a box .( textbook page 132.
Finally SS will work in pairs describing pictures of their family or friends.
They will make comparisons.
 Grammar focus 1: presentation: Teacher introduces the gerund form
through a reading. He explains the function. Practice: Ss will complete a
table using the grammar that was introduced before. Also they will write the
gerund or infinitive form in given sentences.production. finally Ss will take
turn asking and answering questions using some specific verbs , forget,
regret.remember, stop and try.
 Grammar focus 2:presentation:Teacher introduces the connectors of
addition through a reading . he explains the function .practice. SS will
complete a table with words and phrases in bold from the text, beside they
will rewrite sentences using connectors. Production: SS will make up new
sentences using connectors of addition. they will share them with the class.
 Listening task: pre: before listen Ss will look at a picture in the book, they
will say what a podcast will be about. during: SS will listen to a podcast and
they will write a short word or phrase they hear in each blank. Post. Finally
Tand SS will check the answers.
 Reading Practice:
Pre: teacher asks SS what a selfie is? During: SS are going to read an article
about the selfie.he clarifies meaning and correct pronunciation .post: Ss will
match underlined sentences with the correct function.

Speaking activity :SS(pair work) are going to work in pairs , they will make
up a role play, situation: your house has been robbed. You call the police,
when the police comes he asks you a number of questions.

Video practice: Ss are going to watch a video about the internet revolution ,
after they have watch it . they will answer some questions based on the
video.( first Saturday)

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
Day 1 SS will work on the language wrap up ,page 138. they will work on their
Day 2 workbook material unit 11.
ASSESSMENT / EVALUATION FOR THIS UNIT
Quiz 1
Test 1 SS will be assessed during class participation. They will take a quiz based on grammar and
Oral Presentation vocabulary. Unit 10. Also they will take a listening quiz. Unit 10.
