PRONUNCIATION Warm-up:Teacher introduces the unit asking SS
LISTENING questions such as What kind of systems or ways are

Vocabulary and speaking: First SS will look at the


pictures of ways to collect or process water, they will
answer some wh questions based on the pictures. Then
they will work In pairs discussing some specific
questions related to environment issues.

Listening Task: pre. Teacher asks SS , What are some


problems do people face in Managua to get water.
During. SS will listen to a radio interview for water
watch , they will answer some questions, then they will
complete some notes based on the interview.
Tuesday:
Vocabulary activity 1 :First Teacher asks SS about
what marketing is? later he shares a definition in
English. then ss will complete sentences with the correct
forms of the words and phrases from a box ,Finally SS
will work in pairs discussing some ways people do
marketing in Nicaragua.
Vocabulary activity 2:First Teacher introduces some
vocabulary related to the environment, he makes
brainstorm on the board. Then SS will match bold
words and phrases with the correct definitions. Finally
SS will work in pairs discussing some specific questions
page 62.

Wednesday: Grammar focus.1 Presentation. Teacher


introduces the passive through an article ,he explains
function, he clarifies a table and its forms , he provides
some new written examples using a digital index
card ..practice:SS will complete sentences with the
correct passive form, production. SS will create new
sentences about Nicaraguan natural disasters using the
passive.

Grammar focus2 :presentation. Teacher introduces


expressions of purpose through an article,he explains
function and provide new examples using an index card
. practice. SS will choose the correct option to complete
sentences. production: SS will work in pairs discussing
questions using expressions of purpose.

Thursday : Reading Practice:Pre. Teacher asks SS what is the


most they have ever paid for a glass of water or bottle .during
SS will read a text about bottled water, Teacher helps SS with
pronunciation and clarifies new vocabulary. post. Ss will
answer some questions based on the text. post. T and SS
check the answers.

Speaking Task: SS are given a copy . they will work in pairs


asking and answering information questions about different
topics.

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
Day 1 SS will work on the language wrap up page 66. they will work
Day 2 on their workbook material. Unit 5.
