PRONUNCIATION Listening activity: pre –during and post framework.

READING COMPREHENSION Pre: Teacher asks SS how do they define social justice and ask
WRITING them to give him examples.

 SS are going to listen to a person taking part in a debate and explain


why he agrees with the statement. ( a fair society helps to its poor
members)

 After SS have listened to the debate they will check the points the person
makes to support his argument

Vocabulary Activity: Teacher asks SS to go the board and write


words that are related to social justice, SS will brainstorm
some words.
Practice: SS will replace phrases in italics with
words or phrases from a box. Then SS are going to complete sentences with
words or phrases from the previous exercise.
Finally SS are going to work in pairs , They are given an statement.(people who
are unemployed should get financial support from the government)SA is going to
support reasons based on the statement, SB is going to be against the statement.
They will think of some reasons to support their opinions.
Tuesday : Grammar Focus: Presentation-Grammar-production

Teacher introduces nouns clauses as subjects through a conversation, he


explains function and provides new examples using an index card.

Then SS are going to put sentences in the correct order.

Finally SS will talk and explain what they would do to help reduce youth
unemployment in Nicaragua, They will use noun clauses in context.

Workbook time: teacher is going to check the most important exrecises


from the workbook. Units7-8.

Wednesday: Reading and writing: SS are going to read an extract


about international aid,They will find and underline examples of
grammatical structures that are given in the text, later they will label
each one with the number of the structure. Finally they will rewrite
each sentence starting with given words, SS are going to use some
of the grammatical structures from the previous exercise.

Speaking task: SS are given a digital copy of a debate, they will


discuss, express opinions , agreement. disagreement , etc.
