SPEAKING
READING COMPREHENSION 1-lesson 1.
WRITING Vocabulary preview: presentation : Teacher asks Ss what words do they
know or they can relate to the future. What will the future bring ? practice ss
will complete sentences with given words from the book. Page 98. Production .
SS will work in pairs talking and predicting the future. They will use will or be
going to.

2- lesson 2:
Listening task :pre: before listening : Teacher ask Ss a question what is like
for older people in your country now . SS will check the sentences that are
true where they live .during : Global listening : SS are going to hear a
conversation about worldwide increase in the number of older people SS will
circle the problems and solutions they mention..Close listening : Ss will listen
again and make inferences based in the information in the conversation. Post
Tand Ss will check the answers.

3 – lesson 3:
Speaking task.( debate) SS are given a document in word by what appp . it
contains a list of topics . SS will discuss these topics expressing opinions ,
agreement or disagreement.
.
4- lesson 4 : Listening task : first teacher provides Ss a copy of a song , called
Good bye. Then Ss wil listen to the song and they will fill in the blanks . finally
Tand Ss will check the answers and discuss the message of the song.

5- lesson 5 . Speaking task : Ss are going to use cleft sentences to role play
conversation. They will act them out .page 93.

REINFORCEMENT / HOMEWORK
Day 1 SS WILL WORK ON THEIR VOCABULARY LOG . 70 WORDS PROVIDED BY THE
Day 2 TEACHER.
ASSESSMENT / EVALUATION FOR THIS UNIT
Quiz 1 SS will be assessed during class participation. SS will have a debate . Teacher evaluates some
