Abstract
This paper illustrates how arti/icial intelligence can enhance teaching practices in higher

education by automating personalized quiz generation, evaluation, and feedback. The study

integrates generative AI to create tailored quizzes aligned with Bloom’s taxonomy, which

students then complete. Both multiple-choice and open-ended questions are evaluated by

an AI system, demonstrating strong agreement with human graders. The AI provides rapid

and effective personalized feedback on student responses, enabling customized

reinforcement. A case study's results highlight the potential of AI in relieving educators of

repetitive tasks, reducing grading bias, and scaling personalized learning. The paper offers

practical contributions by outlining an AI-enabled pathway to more engaging, equitable and

inspiring teaching through automated assessment and feedback. This framework enhances

how we teach in higher education by harnessing AI for mentoring and inspiring students.
