Announcement (final posting): Families, each year we send out a community survey regarding school operations. The survey
was copied on bright pink paper and went home with your student last week. Please take time to complete the survey and send
it back to school with your student on or before April 22nd.
SBAC Testing Donations Still Needed: We still need donations please. A donation letter was sent home
previously requesting the following be donated for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders: Hershey Kisses, Mints,
Bubble Gum (sugar free), Goldfish Crackers packs, Takis, “Golden Easter Eggs” (the plastic ones), and
small river rocks for a special art surprise. Anything we can do to help them do their best on these tests is
awesome! All donations can be dropped off at the front office and we’ll start to organize them in the
conference room. As always, we appreciate our Cox Family!
PTA is hosting a Family Movie Night, Friday, April 12th on the field. Gates will
open at 6:45 pm and movie will begin at 7:00 pm. PTA will be providing
popcorn, hot dogs, and cotton candy (until supplies run out). Please bring your
blankets and chairs and join us for the “Emperor’s New Groove” (always super
funny).
SBAC Testing Schedule: Testing is right around the corner for our 3rd – 5th graders. Our students only test in the mornings and
only on Tuesday and Wednesdays. We take one part per day (there are 2 parts per subject). We have made schedule
arrangements to accommodate for school events taking place in April and to take up as little of class time as possible for the
state exams.
