Grandma is Nani,
cook extraordinaire,
flavour-full delights,
none ever bare.

Grandpa is Nana Ji,

loves to explore,
though lounging on the couch,
is never a bore.

Mum is thoughtful,
will always listen,
she cooks warming meals,
and anchors the balance.

Dad is humorous,
but cannot cook,
and loves to read,
electronic books.

Ishwin is my brother,
 to my parents an angel
but through my eyes,
I see the mischief within.

Mango is sweet,
she gives great hugs,
her miniature kisses,
pale to her love.

I am Sanaa,
eldest child,
animal lover,
tame but wild.
