of the seven types of performance tasks. Explain how you consider each activity as a sample type of
performance task relate each to your field of specialization.

7 Types of Performance Task

1. Solving a Problem
Example: Student are presented with a complex mathematical problem involving algebraic
equation.

Explanation: This kind of task can assesses student’s ability to apply the mathematical
concepts.

2. Completing an inquiry
Example: Students are given data research to conduct a statistical analysis.

Explanation: This task evaluates students ability to conduct independent inquiries.

3. Determining a position
Example: Students research debate

Explanation: This task assesses their ability to analyze pedagogical approaches in

Mathematics education, preparing them to advocate for effective teaching methods

4. Demonstration Task
Example: Creating instructional video about trigonometry equations.

Explanation: This task evaluates students' ability to convey trigonometry equations

visually and verbally, which is essential for teaching Mathematics to diverse learners.

5. Developing Exhibits
Example: Math Project about Geometric shapes

Explanation: This activity enhance student’s creativity to design there geometric shapes

6. Presentation Task
Example: Reporting

Explanation: Students present there work in front of the teacher and students.

7. Capstone Performance

Example: Demonstration

Explanation: Students develop his/her professionalism.
