Hand-Knotted Rug:
A hand-knotted rug, also referred to as an oriental rug, is
a rug that is made by hand on a specialized loom.
This method requires the weaver to insert knots into the
rug and tie them each by hand with extreme precision
and caution. The wavering technique helps preserve
the rugs’ quality and aesthetic. Hand-knotted rugs are
considered to be art pieces that can last a lifetime. Since
hand-knotted rugs are not mass-produced, each piece
is unique and extremely rare and could be passed from
generation to generation as a family heirloom.

a fabric backing to create the intended color and design,
this method is inherently different and unique from the
other carpet and rug-making techniques, such as hand
knotted or machine made. They are often very soft,
mesmerizing and can be designed with various options.
