Semester 2 Task 1 Notification

Date: Aug 23nd 2023 Time: Period 1 Venue: In class Weighting: 50%

TASK DESCRIPTION:
You will complete a task testing your knowledge of linear relationships, rates and ratios, non-
linear relationships. The task will be made up of two parts.

Part A: You will be required to complete a series of questions that are attached to the notification. You
will hand in part A at the commencement of part B in class. Part A has a weighting of 10%. The purpose of
this assignment is to prepare you for Part B.

Please note: All work presented in this assessment task must be your own. Malpractice, including
plagiarism could lead to you receiving zero marks for the assessment and will in turn jeopardise your results.

Part B:You will complete a 50-minute written test. These questions will be similar to Part A.
Calculators may be used. A reference sheet will be provided.
