TUNA SALPICAO RECIPE

Tuna Salpicao is a delightful twist on the classic Filipino dish, usually made with beef, where tender
pieces of tuna are sautéed with garlic and served as a flavorful appetizer or main dish. Here's how you
can make it:

Ingredients:

 500g tuna fillets, cut into bite-sized cubes

 6 cloves garlic, minced

 2 tablespoons soy sauce

 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

 1 tablespoon butter

 2 tablespoons olive oil

 Salt and pepper to taste

 Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Marinate the tuna cubes with minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, salt,
and pepper. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.

3. Once the pan is hot, add the marinated tuna cubes (along with any marinade) to the pan. Make
sure not to overcrowd the pan to ensure even cooking.

4. Sauté the tuna cubes for about 3-5 minutes or until they are cooked through. Be careful not to
overcook to keep the tuna tender and juicy.

5. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking and to prevent sticking to the pan.

6. Once the tuna cubes are cooked, remove them from the pan and transfer to a serving dish.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions for added freshness and color, if desired.

8. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a main dish with steamed rice or crusty bread.

Enjoy your delicious Tuna Salpicao!
