Battery Load Test and Baseline

2 Check for Cell Cracks or Electrolyte Leakage on Flooded Cells.

3 Check for Corrosion & Post Seal Integrity.
ok
4 Check integrity of Battery Racks.
ok
5 Check and Record Ambient Temperature and Ventilation.
6 Obtain initial Cell Corder data of battery string(s). ok

7 Measure and record total battery system (string) voltage. ok

8 Measure and record individual cell voltages. ok

9 Perform Internal Cell Resistance and Intercell Resistance Tests. ok

10 Provide hard copy of Cell Corder data.
Disconnect battery string to be tested using installed disconnect device or ok
11 by disconnecting the negative cable connection and insulating.
12 Connect Load Bank to Battery Quick Disconnect ok

Initiate Load (Capacity) Test for 6 hours of testing, at the Battery

13 Manufacturer's recommended Load to 1.75 VPC.
14 Record discharge data on Battery Load Test Data Sheet ok

15 Record measured capacity (in %) on Battery Load Test Data Sheet ok

16 Upon completion of Load Test, initiate off-line recharge of tested string.
17 Upon completion of charge, place string back on-line. ok
Record any battery problems in "Notes" section of Battery Load Test
ok
18 Data Sheet.
