Adjectives are used to describe, identify, modify or
quantify nouns or pronouns. Adjectives have three
degrees that compare one thing to another.
positive - no change
(big, strong, long, etc.)
comparative – words end in “ er ”
(bigger, stronger, longer, etc.)
superlative – words end in “est”
(biggest, strongest, longest, etc.)

(bigger, hotter, fatter etc.)
superlative – words end in “est”
