In the current S&T innovation, the importance of studying Science, Technology, and Society- I Think is
because, since the world and humanity is evolving, people also create new inventions such as
technological advancements. As we humans in the society are required to adapt in the current advances
of technology and science, it is important to study STS so that we are able to expand our knowledge for
us to be adaptable and updated in how these advancements work in the present time. In relation to
Studying Science, Technology, and Society (STS) is important for several reasons:
1. To understand the social impact of technology: By studying STS, individuals can understand how
new technologies like Google Clips influence society and culture, and also learn about the
potential unintended consequences of technology.
