III. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction Tell:
Welcome participants and introduce the purpose of the activity:
Before we proceed, take a few moments to explore the pictures. Consider the
emotions, themes, and stories that these images might evoke. This multimedia
exploration will be the foundation of our upcoming storytelling journey.
D. Small Group Discussion Tell:
Now, let's form pairs or small groups. Each of you will receive a picture, but
here's the catch – keep it a secret! Don't show your picture to your partner or
group members just yet.
Your task is to discuss the potential story elements inspired by your hidden
pictures. What characters might be present? What setting does it suggest? Is
there a particular mood or tone that stands out? Engage in a lively discussion
to brainstorm and develop initial ideas.
E. Group Presentation Tell:
Alright, storytellers, it's time to bring those ideas to life! Each pair or group will
contribute to a collaborative story, and here's the twist – integrate your hidden
pictures seamlessly into the narrative. This is where creativity and collaboration
come into play. Let your imagination run wild, and don't be afraid to build upon
each other's ideas.
After some time, we'll gather together, and each pair or group will have the
opportunity to present their collaborative story to the class. Get ready to see
how these diverse pictures weave together into captivating tales.
IV. CLASS REFLECTION
Gather everyone together and invite pairs or groups to share their final stories
with the entire class.
Write a brief individual reflection. How did this activity influence your
understanding of storytelling and collaboration? Consider what aspects you
found most enjoyable or challenging. This reflection will help you connect the
dots between theory and practice.
