Hi, I’m Jasmine.

Today I’d like to share with you about the seven


continents. There are Asia, Africa, North America, South America,
Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

First, the world's largest continent is Asia. Asia contains 60% of


the world's population. There are 48 countries in Asia. The
largest countries in Asia are Russia, China, and India. The highest
mountain in the world is Mount Everest in Asia.

Next, Africa is the second-largest continent in the world. There


are 54 countries in Africa. Algeria is the largest country in Africa.
The Sahara is the largest hot desert in the world. The Nile is the
longest river in the world.

North America is the world's third-largest continent. There are


23 countries in North America. Canada, the United States, and
Mexico make up the largest part of North America. The Missouri
is the longest river. Denali is the highest mountain in North
America.

South America is the fourth-largest continent. There are 12


countries in South America. The Amazon is the longest river.
Aconcagua is the highest mountain, and Titicaca is the biggest
lake in South America.

Antarctica is the fifth-largest continent. Over 98% of Antarctica is


covered by ice. It is the coldest, driest, and windiest continent.
The highest mountain in Antarctica is Mount Vinson.
Australia is the world's smallest continent. The highest mountain
in Australia is Mount Kosciuszko. The Murray River is the longest
in Australia. Australia is home to some of the world's most
deadly creatures, including snakes, spiders, sharks, and
crocodiles.

Finally, Europe is the second-smallest continent in size but the


third-largest in population. There are 44 countries in Europe.
Mount Elbrus in Russia is the highest mountain in Europe. The
Volga River in Russia is Europe's longest river.
