1. Explain the concept of assembly language directives in ARM and describe their
purposes.

Assembly language, in general, is considered a low-level programming language, which is

specific for a processor architecture.
This is in contrast to many of the high-level languages, e.g., C, Java, etc., which are easily
portable across different architectures or platforms.
