PROBLEM STATEMENT: Poor reading performance of the learners


PROJECT OBJECTIVE: To improve the reading performance of the learners
To capacitate teachers on strategies in teaching reading
To provide avenue for the learners to apply
showcase their learning through participating any reading-related activities/competitions

ROOT CAUSE: 1. Poor foundation in word recognition and reading comprehension


2. Lack of appropriate learning materials
3. Less strategies in teaching reading especially in the conduct of remediation
4. Lack follow-up of the parents at home
