SUBJECT: CONDUCT OF DIVISION TRAINING ON CULTURAL AND CURRICULUM MAPPING

The Schools Division of Tabuk City through the Curriculum Implementation Division, specifically the
Indigenous Peoples Education Program, will be conducting a Division Training on Cultural and Curriculum
Mapping for Elementary, Secondary, and ALS Teachers at the King Square Davidson Hotel and Restaurant
on January 28, February 4, and February 11, 2023.

The activity has the following objectives:


-To reorient the teachers on the Indigenous Peoples Education Policy and Curriculum Framework
-To let the teachers, identify the most essential competencies appropriate for localization and indigenization
-To capacitate teachers on the development of indigenized lesson exemplars and culture-based modules

The list of participants is seen in Enclosure 1 of this memo.

All the participants are advised to bring their own laptops, extension cords, and copy of the MELCs.
Compliance to health protocols is also observed so all participants are also advised to come with their face
masks.

The meals and snacks for all the participants will be charged to the 2022 IPED Program Support Fund while
transportation expenses will be charged against local funds subject to usual accounting rules and regulations.

Immediate and widest dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
