2.0 OVERVIEW

2.1 Project Standards:

The facility which this item will be installed is an health care isolation unit, upon comletion it shall be in comlince with WHO standards

2.2 Equipment description:

100% fresh air handling unit, shall provide an extremely rugged, heavy‐duty, long‐life, and energy efficient. The unit includes Cooling coil ,
heating coil and prefilter section aluminum and bag filter, Panels shall be double skin construction with Polyurethane foam/ fiber glass
insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer panels, The floor panels also shall have double wall construction with 25/50 mm thick
sandwich type polyurethane foam/ fiber glass insulation for a rigid non‐vibrating construction. Internal surfaces of the units shall be made
of wear‐resistant materials.

2.1 Reference standards/guidelines for equipment:

The equipment should comply with the following guidelines / standard:
ASHRAE STANDERD 90.1 Standard for Air Condi oning and Ven la on Systems
ASME Ch6-D30-R5 HVAC&R engineering
NEC Section 424 Fixed Electric Space Hea ng Equipment
AMCA300-67 TEST CODE FOR SOUND RATING AIR MOVING DEVICES
NFPA 90A Standard for Air Conditioning and Ventilation System
ASHRAE 52-76 Atmospheric dust spot method
UL181 Standard for Safety Factory‐Made Air Ducts and ...
Specification for general requirements for steel sheet, zinc‐coated (galvanized) by the
ASTM A525-75 hot‐dip process
EUROVENT RS 6/C/005-2019 RATING STADARD for the CERTIFICATION Of AIRHANDLING UNITS

any other not mentioned standerds related to fulfill the main goal of using the equipment

Note:
1) This URS has been prepared based on our in‐house knowledge & understanding for this equipment. It is possible
that certain points might have been overlooked. As a vendor we expect you to go through the document in depth
and give your suggestions separately as an option. However, the base offer shall be as per the URS. All suggestions
and deviations shall be highlighted and summarized separately.
2) Vendor shall provide response as “Yes” or “No” against each specification for the compliance of their offered
equipment in the remarks column.

3.0 OPERATION AND PROCESS DESCRIPTION

The equipment will provide 100% fresh filtered air to the zone served in the facility, outdoor air conditions are [32 degre celcius dry bulb
/50%RH in summer and 5 degre celcius dry bulb /20%RH in winter]. Inside air conditions are [24 degre celcius dry bulb /50%RH in
summer and 24 degre celcius dry bulb /30 %RH in winter]. Equipment operation is controlled by Direct Digital Control (DDC) system which
has the ability to measure, regulate, control, and monitor operation of HVAC system. Monitored parameters are: room temperature, filter
differential pressure and pressure/suction fans differential pressure. Ability of the system to be controlled automatically depends on
configuration of regulating components (PLC controller). System program ensures logic for control and management of mainstream
components: fans, actuators and valves according to required (adjusted) parameters. This air has conditioned parameters according to
requested from the operator. Air temperature is regulated by turning on and off by utilization of three‐way electrically actuated valve
which enables teperature control. Filter clogging is prevented by installing a differential pressure switch that sends signal for system shut
down in case differential pressure reaches certain level. Air flow control and fan operation verification is achieved by utilizing pressure
sensors installed at fan positions. In case when air flow is below predetermined level differential pressure sensors send alarm signal for
system shutdown.
