ABOUT US
GAC Adventure Consultant emphasize on the importance of learning through doing and ensuring that
all participants will achieve their milestones towards the end of the program. Our company has been
operating in the outdoor education industry for more than 16 years

Safety is our top priority as all risks involved during programs are assessed and calculated. Our trainers are
all certified as Wilderness First Responders as a minimum requirement.

Moreover, we integrate Leave No Trace principles to ensure that participants will learn about the
importance of nature conservation and sustainability. Participants will gain invaluable knowledge, values,
skills and certifications by the end of all programs.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Our programs are designed to showcase the many different skills and techniques that
are required to survive in a wilderness environment while minimizing our impacts to the
environment to fulfill the core values of Leave No Trace (LNT).
Our instructors are well trained and experienced in the field of wilderness survival and are
ready to give the best of them to ensure that all participants will have an ultimately great
time while learning in a safe environment .

PROGRAM ITINERARY

Day 1
Morning Registration. Orientation and Safety briefing. Expectation settings.
Ice Breaking & Energizers. Teams forming.

Knife Safety and Distribution of knives.


Day 1 Basic Navigation. Prep time and Hiking departure.

PACKING LIST

1.Outdoor clothes We recommend dry fit, long sleeves and pants to
avoid insects bites and protection from the sun.

2. Rain jacket The shell/ outer layer jacket must be waterproof,


windproof, breathable as specified by the
manufacturer.

3. Sun Hat or Cap We recommend large brim sunhats with UV


protection to avoid sunburns during the day.

4. Hiking Bagpack We recommend 30 liters and above to store your


equipment. Find a pack that suits your torso length to
have a comfortable journey.

5. Footwear Closed toe shoes are the best option to enter the
wilderness. Bring a pair of slippers or sandals as well to
make the night comfortable.

6. Sun protection We recommend SPF 50 and above to avoid


cream sunburns during the day.

heat and cold during the day and night. It also
enhances your sleeping experience by providing
comfort. Yoga mats can be used as sleeping mats
too.

representatives, agree to release, indemnify and defend GAC Adventure Consultant Sdn Bhd (GAC) with respect to all claims,
liabilities, losses, suits or expenses (including costs and reasonable attorneys fees) made or brought by anyone, including a co-
participant, third party, my child, or any members of my or my child’s family arising out of any injury, damage, death, of other loss in any
way connected with my or my child’s participation in GAC activities or use of GAC equipment or facilities. This agreement includes any
losses claimed to be caused, in whole or in part, by the negligence of GAC. I understand I agree here to waive all claims against
GAC, and agree that neither I, nor anyone acting on my behalf, will make a claim and/or file a lawsuit of any kind against GAC, as a
result of any injury, damage, death or other loss suffered by me or my child. I also agree that Malaysian Law shall govern this
agreement.

First Aid: I authorize GAC personnel to obtain or provide medical care for me/my child, or
to transport me/my child to a medical facility. I further authorize GAC staff or other medical personnel to render such treatment they
deem necessary for my/my child’s health. I agree that GAC has no responsibility for medical care provided to me/my child, and I agree
to pay all costs associated with such care or evacuation whether or not authorized by me.
